Hearthstone Village in Latham, NY

We have been incredibly pleased with Hearthstone and my grandma loves living there! All of the staff members are friendly and attentive. The neighbors are kind and she absolutely loves the activities. It's great to have a shuttle for errands and the community is quiet and clean. Definitely the best place we could have found for her!

Avila Independent Retirement Community in Albany, NY
4.9

After visiting four other retirement facilities, we selected Avila for its friendly climate, services offered, meal opportunities, and several religious services provided on-site. Now, with three years of experience at Avila, we are pleased with our decision to join this community. We also know that Avila was selected the "Best in the Capital Region" for retirement communities through the Times Union for 2024. We now look forward to many more years at Avila.

Beechwood at Eddy Memorial in Troy, NY

I have been a Resident of Beechwood for over six years, but at this time of pandemic and destructive weather events I especially appreciate the "peace of mind" it allows me. Not having to worry about handling details of a healthy and safe environment is a blessing.

I would recommend them. They have a good community. We picked this community because, she liked it better. The other places were a little stuffy. The staff are very friendly and courteous.

An Independent Living Community provides residents the ability to continue to live active lives while guaranteeing their basic needs have been met. Food preparation, recreational activities and housekeeping chores are handled while you are able to use your time as you choose. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds.
