I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one since she made the move into this community. Every time I have gone to visit I have been pleased with what I have seen and think the staff do a great job maintaining the facility for all of the residents. She seems be comfortable in her new living environment and has no problems with how things are going. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a place for there loved one.

Fennville, Michigan

Independent Living

If you want the peace of mind of having your chores taken care of while living your life at your own pace, you might want to consider an Independent Living Community. Daily needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are taken care of, which permits seniors more free time to live their lives as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and interests. Typically consisting of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies vary between locations, numerous residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private health care professionalls. There are a variety of expenditures and benefits to keep in mind while determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these services are covered in your care plan: cable TV, Waiting list deposit, utilities, field trips, private phone, parking, wellness program, and move-in fee. The conveniences that pertain to independent living include community activities, private rental hall, game/TV room, beauty salon & barber shop, fitness center & swimming pool, healthcare center, security guards, and transportation.
