I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one since she made the move into this community. Every time I have gone to visit I have been pleased with what I have seen and think the staff do a great job maintaining the facility for all of the residents. She seems be comfortable in her new living environment and has no problems with how things are going. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a place for there loved one.

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community permits residents the choice to live an active lifestyle while guaranteeing their basic needs have been met. Basic tasks such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is maintained, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they wish, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing care is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private care providers. There are a variety of advantages and expenditures to balance when determining an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in your service plan: wellness program, field trips, transportation, private phone, Waiting list deposit, housekeeping, utilities, and initial assessment fee. The conveniences associated with independent living include private rental hall, concierge services, healthcare center, game/TV room, restaurant-style dining hall, beauty salon & barber shop, transportation, and laundry service.
