The staff and residents are very nice and they would be happy with Oakwood Village. It's a place I would recommend to others. We picked this community, because of the friendliness of staf and cost.
The community at Williamsburg Senior Living seems to fit Mom's needs fairly well. She does not drive anymore and had limited social interaction opportunities. She is starting to engage in the activities offered by Williamsburg. Her apartment is somewhat dated but seems to fit her needs. She believes there could be improvement in the meals. She says she is content with her decision to sell her house of over 20 years and move into Williamsburg. Its only been a few moths so time will tell if this continues to suit her needs Overall based on just a few months stay I would recommend this place to others.
At firs, we picked this community because it is close to my son's house, but after both of us living here we are very satisfied. Not as rigid as the former Senior Star but run with common sense. Family friendly with lots of activities including live music every Friday afternoon. Meals are good and the place is Christian friendly.
