Sunrise of Baton Rouge

My loved one has moved out of Sunrise of Baton Rouge. I would recommend this facility only in some cases.

My loved one is currently a resident at Sunrise of Baton Rouge and everything has been great at this facility. The staff is helpful and caring, almost like a family. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Baton Rouge to others.

I came to visit Sunrise to honor their veterans for the We Honor Veterans program. Everyone is so warm and friendly! It is a beautiful facility and has an immaculate interior! I would highly recommend Sunrise for your families!

It was amazing!!! We played bingo and the people were so sweet and inviting! I had the opportunity to play with them and it was a blast! I’m thankful that God has showed me the love and joy these people have for our youth!! I’m super thankful I was given the opportunity to visit!!

It was fun to play bingo with the senior citizens and bring cheer and the love of Christ to these peoples lives we had fun playing and winning prizes together I am so excited to return and play again.

It was such a blessing to be able to play Bingo with the residents and just be able to bring the love of Christ and joy into their day to day life. We hope to come back soon!! We love you guys so much and we were so happy to spend time with you guys today!

I visited to take a tour and everyone was very helpful. They treated me with kindness and respect as I was going through a hard time with having to deal with my mothers emergency situation.

Sunrise Senior Living has been a wonderful experience for my dad. The staff is caring and takes very good care of the residents that live there. The facility is warm and welcoming. The food is delicious and the activities are well rounded for the individuals. I recommend this facility for any loved ones that need some special attention.

It was a great pleasure to serve the residents at Sunrise. The staff was so friendly and particularly, [name removed] with Activities encouraged many residents to participate in our time of music. It was clear that the residents were well-cared for. I also enjoyed the festive atmosphere.

I had the opportunity to stop by and tour the community at Sunrise, the exterior of the building was well kept as well as the entrance Into the building, the Receptionist and Executive Director greeting me with a warm welcome an smiles and offered me a tour of the community.. The building appeared clean and smelled fresh, residents seemed very happy by the smiles on their faces. Supporting Staff were actively assisting residents and to my surprise there were no agency staff in the building which was a huge plus. Overall, I would say Sunrise Senior Living is a lovely community for our Geriatric Community !

Staff to resident ratio, cleanliness,Frienliness,staff works directly for Sunrise. No third party staff,They could meet my mom's needs. Not a huge place. It has a more homey atmosphere. They know all their residents by name. A great activities director. Cute apartments that are just the right size and handicap ready. They have gone out of their way to make mom welcome by introducing her to other friendly ladies and inviting her to each activity. Residents can choose from several options for each meal and if they happen to miss a meal or get hungry in between meals they have several things they can choose that they will prepare for them. They have nutritious balanced meals.

Sunrise senior living is the place to be, our seniors are loving the atmosphere the attention and all of the fun and lovely things that are happening in the community!!!! Looking forward to the Hoya d all the upcoming events!!!

The attention to memory care is incredible, and the enrichment opportunities provided to not only the residents but the community as well, has created an exceptionally joyful environment. Sunrise Jefferson is dedicated to providing compassionate care to support the physical, emotional, and social needs of their residents. The staff, such as [name removed] and [name removed], are passionate about their work and go above and beyond to create activities and events for their residents and families, which has become a treat to the entire community. The professionalism and level of care provided by the staff at Sunrise Jefferson is truly impressive, and I believe that anyone who chooses them will be delighted with the services and support they provide!

Sunrise is it beautifully well appointed community that provides comfort and attention to its residents on a daily basis. The dining experience of nutritious and delicious cuisine is an added bonus to the attention of resident details.

The Nursing Staff at Sunrise on Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge is absolutely amazing. Not only are they providing clinical excellence; they have hearts of gold when dealing with their residents. Anyone who needs to place a loved one in this facility....Rest assure that they will be cared for and loved on with the same intensity that you are providing at home!

Things they do well at: most workers have a genuine concern for the residents; very neat and clean facility Things to improve: medication management and food. They seem to try to accommodate residents fairly well. My Mom is a picky eater, so she likes the breakfast but not usually the other meals. She does appreciate that there are options for alternate selections (for example, sandwiches).
