The staff are good at communicating with the family. Also, the Executive Director is good at making referrals for additional services provided by Medicare and following up on requests by the family. There are three meals a day offered to the residents. Benton House truly understands the difficulties of families and their aging loved one. During the tour, there was an industry staff member that goes into several different communities, and they even thought this was the best community around.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the residents - They don't have to go refer to a chart, the minute I walk in they all have an update. They are very kind. They actually know each and every resident and their family. They go the extra mile and will call if they feel like something needs to be addressed. The Oaks is a fabulous place and families are making the absolute right choice by going there.
That this center is here for the residents . They adapt to the residents need. They have many opportunities to participate in activities. We especially appreciate the staffs willingness to adapt to the resident.

An Independent Living Community permits residents the ability to live active lives while ensuring their care requirements are being met. Basic tasks such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is provided, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they wish, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and interests.
