I requested service for my father while he was still in the hospital, and was set to be released with no plan in place for him at home, but they were fortunately able to pull together a care plan and find a nurse who moved in with my parents that very next week! His nurse has been a godsend to both of my parents, but especially my father. He's very limited in functioning, and she helps him all day, every day! She also cleans up after him and cooks for both of my parents, since my mother isn't really up to that challenge anymore.
