Its a good place. They provide a good service. My mother is really thriving there. The staff is very friendly. My loved one is picky but she seems to like it and say "it's good" and she is gaining weight. This is a huge deal for us. From what I have gathered they have exercise activities, brain games and have them do interactive games that they do on a regular basis. They also have a movie night.... Read more

My mom was there for a year. She had laundry mix ups. Her clothes, jewelry, bedding and ID missing. [removed]. People there make u feel it's u fault if u complain. The price is good, but u get what u pay for. Look around when u tour the place . It's really dirty. The managing staff ( I've dealt with) is young and not professional. I have to say there are a few nurses that are great. There are of course some staff members who also do a great job. I believe it is the upper management that has not given proper training to the few who need guidance. I would not recommend hollybrook from my experience. I pulled my mom out and she is happier. There are many places out there, take your time to find the right place. I was desperate, and I regret I wasted time and money.

My brother seems to like it here. I haven't heard any complaints, about the food or anything else. That is a good thing! It's clean and the staff is friendly. Really he is adjusting well, and we like it. It's working out well.

They are very friendly, and they do an excellent job caring for my father who has dementia. They handle him very well. They told me that it would probably take him about six weeks to get settled in and comfortable there, and they were right as he is in that phase of it now. They have been very helpful and I am very pleased with them.

I think the staff at Hollybrook is caring and kind. Sometimes communication is lacking and there are frustrations-disappearing clothing, mixed up clothing etc. In memory care it is difficult to monitor everyone even second. But I think they really try to work with the residents in what can be a very difficult situation. My mother has been there about 3 months and while it has been a very hard transition, she does like the staff.

My Dad lives here, we are so grateful for all of the support we had from every employee at Hollybrook from the day we moved all the way up to now. I can't say enough about how happy my family and I are that we chose to move Dad here.

I have nothing but praise for this community. All of the amenities exceeded my expectations. The community is clean, friendly and a great value for the amount. The care services and activities available are excellent. My Mom is extremely happy there. We made a great choice!

My mother is happy there. The nurses are very friendly. They call her by name. They know me as well. Everything overall is very good. The location is very convenient; right between my sister and me, so we are both able to visit on a regular basis. They have different group activities; bingo, movies, gardening, they have weekly trips to go out to shop.

They do a very good job, it's clean and the staff is really friendly. It's one of the less expensive places, and they are very attentive, and responsive. They could use a little more variety, with the activities. She says the food isn't very good, and the variety isn't great for someone with a limited diet. She says it's not very tasty. They have been very nice though, and we are happy with them.

I loved everybody there, they were all kind and wonderful. I had a problem, because they placed her in assisted living, after her assessment. They thought she would be alright there, but I didn't think she was doing alright. The doctor wrote a prescription that was as needed, and the community was not able to use discretion about how much to give and when, and I felt like the result left her over-medicated. They can't change the prescription and they have to do what the prescription says. The facility is really nice, and I would do it again, but I would have insisted she go to memory care.

The ladies who took us on a tour were very nice and concerned about my mother well being. The facility was well kept and bright. The staff was always friendly and interested in us. Over all I was very impressed with Hollybrook and look forward to my mother bring able to get in. She is still in rehab. Our questions were answered quickly. Our needs, as well as my mothers needs were addressed and we were assured that whatever she might need to make her stay comfortable, would be taken care of. I feel secure in the knowledge that she will be well taken care of.

I visited here with my mother, and was not impressed. The location is not great, and there is a lack of parking. Some of the staff we talked to did not always seem knowledgeable, especially when we asked them specific questions. When were were shown the memory care unit, we saw residents doing some activities. However, these activities seemed staged just for our visit. These were also the only residents we saw during our visit -- only staff was around otherwise. It is an older facility, so some things are not very up-to-date. When we sat down to discuss things with the staff, they talked over my mother and to me instead of taking into account what she had to say. It took them two weeks to call me back and give me an assessment of cost, which did not include some basic things (giving my mother her medication, etc.). Overall, it had a very strange atmosphere, and we were very disappointed and unimpressed.

Staff facilitates the residents to interact and participate in activities or at least be in the community rooms with others rather than just sitting in their rooms. Staff was most helpful during move-in and getting things in order such as getting the TV to work properly, running line for oxygen unit up and around to prevent tripping, etc. Appreciated that several residents shared how long they had been part of the Hollybrook community and that they enjoyed living there. Loved that residents actually order from a menu at each meal and place their orders in the same manner as being at a restaurant. Funny smell when you first enter but the rest of the facility is OK. Residents' artwork is displayed in the hallways and pictures of the residents are placed near the doorway so you can learn names and faces as well as where someone's room is.

They were very friendly at first but they really underpriced the care services when I asked what the maximum amount I would pay in care charges would be. The first said $500 and then later they quoted us at $1500 and that was a couple of days before we were getting ready to move my grandmother in. I called a couple of times about this and asked them to call me back right away. They never called me back. I was very disappointed in their response.

My dad was there for about two weeks. I liked the facility and the people. It was small and more intimate. They weren't qualified to handle quite his state of dementia so he had to move to the memory care. The hallways is only thirty feet long and my dad is not that bad. It was too closed in for him.
