So grateful that [name removed] suggested Walnut Village. Her description and detailed information truly helped me to make the decision to make the huge move out of my home, where I lived for 53 years, and enter Walnut Village.

This property is a buy in or month to month. The buy in is lower in monthly fee costs, but the down payment is pretty high. The month to month is much more costly. Overall the facility was clean and maintained. Hardly noticed any staff other than some residents’ socializing in a large living area with a piano. We always check with CDSS online to make sure that everything was fine. Their website noted that there have been 10 visits from licensing since 2018 which I think it’s pretty high. I didn’t ask for the most recent licensing information, but facilities like this one are required by law to provide that information to visitors if you ask. Overall it was ok.

This community is new, up-to-date, well located, beautifully decorated and with lovely room layouts and decorating options. The costs are about the same as most of the other good retirement communities we've seen. There is more flexibility in the life options available. We liked it very much.

Nice place, new, we really liked that our parents could stay at the same apt even if their care needs increased. We also liked that it was compact, they had a lot of stuff in a small space. Expensive, though, probably over our budget. [Removed] was really nice and helpful.

Campus is nice, saw three apartments, two one bedrooms and one two bedrooms. The full kitchen is roomy, washer and dryer inside apt is a bonus. A full schedule of exercise programs and fun times were listed. Nice art studio and indoor pool. Pet friendly, they will even allow a pet door to access outside patio for you on the first level. The only negative part is that we did not like the food. The traffic is pretty congested outside the campus because it is near Disneyland. The price is a little high.

This is more like it! they have everything on-site. The apt. is livable & comparable to what my parents are used to living in. there is so many different areas they can go to Art Studio, Library, stroll through the tranquility garden. My parents have eaten here several times & love the [removed]

Visited on August 19. The Sales Manager was very good. The facility was clean and nice. The restaurant was not very good and limited use, that is, monthly fee does not cover all meals.
