I rate 5 all across the board. They were fantastic with my FIL. My FIL qualified for discounted housing. 10 rooms are set aside for some who need help. Not all places do this. Very helpful. The apartments were great! All rooms the same. I believe the one bedrooms were the subsidized units. Very nice and clean with own washer/dryer.... Read more

We were unhappy with the waters and would not recommend - because she had an undiagnosed UTI. She fell 3 times before breaking her arm. Finally a UTI test was administered at the emergency room. I feel a trained medical staff should pick this up as I learned it common with elderly. The regular staff tried to do a good job. It is a management issue from the top down. They don't pay staff sufficiently to keep them. High turnover. Also because of the high turnover, care of the residents suffers.

If family member is there for independent living they might be fine because they can speak up for themselves. Housekeeping is fair, but they rarely keep to the schedule. I would definitely not recommend their memory care, it was horrible, very over priced, food is horrible and they tell you it's the same throughout the facility which is false. Communication from the director on down is extremely poor. I can count on one hand how many staff actually showed that they cared.

We picked this community because of the staff, and brightness. Dining and size . Very good vibe every time I toured. I put my mom in memory care here one the first floor and my dad in independent care on the 3rd floor . He loves it so far. I am happy I feel welcome anytime. I come to visit either one of them. I would tell people how nice it is. They have a parking shuttle, meals, cleaning and activities. It's very friendly, and helpful staff at the front desk.

They were very helpful and responsive as we went through the process of selecting a facility. Willing to make accommodations for our situation. I would recommend Waters of Eden Prairie to other families looking.

I toured Waters of Eden Prairie during my search for Independent Living for my loved one. This facility was nice! I really like the lady who runs the facility, they had an art program, and the facility was very clean. However, I didn't get a very busy/interactive vibe from the lobby, which I think is really important. It seemed like everyone was in their rooms.
It's clean with lots of activities for the residents. There are great caring people at Waters. Most of the time it is very positive and staff adjust care base on my Mom's needs. For that we are grateful. Sadly I can see it is a struggle to find and retain the quality of staff they are seeking. Overall, my mom is in a good, safe place that is well located so family can visit regularly. The nursing staff are very responsive!

I’ve been visiting three times a week for the past six months and the front desk has said fewer than five words to me. The only team member you can get a hold of is the business manager. As someone who values customer service and follow through, unfortunately this place is lacking

Our family visited Waters of Eden Prairie for a tour while looking for a place for my mother. Overall seemed like a nice place, smelled clean everyone was very friendly and upbeat. Just had a feeling it wasn't the place for her, not certain exactly what that reasoning was but something was telling me wasn't the correct fit. Nice place though.
I have already recommended Waters of Eden Prairie to others. Once my loved one was able to get into the community it has been great. The staff went above and beyond to assist my loved one with their medical condition and to make sure the staff were trained to handle the equipment needed for my loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and one option for the residents to eat.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was amazing, the lady that ran the tour was fantastic but the energy level of the community just gave off a different vibe and was not something we were looking for r
The pricing for the care is off the charts expensive. They also charge a $9 fee for meals being delivered to the room which I do not get because my loved ones room is right down the hall. The care is not transparent and the pricing is hard to understand. Other than the pricing, the facility is really great.

We had a really nice tour with Waters of Eden Prairie. The facility was lovely but it was expensive. They required a long stay before being eligible for elderly waiver, so that was why we did not choose them.
The staff members have been great so far and there were many different factors that played into choosing this community. One the location played a huge role, second off the community is extremely clean, open and we really like the layout of the apartments. It was such an easy transition for our loved one, the move was really seamless and based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

We really liked the community but they didn't follow through with pricing and we had to move on.
The community is very friendly. They have different type of meal plans. They provide a daily menu for the residents. The food is good. The community has a lot of activities to offer the residents daily. If you are thinking about going into a community like this, I would recommend this community to you.

This is a wonderful community. They have activities like special dinners, card players, craft days and more for the residents to do to stay busy. They show films and something different every day They also have trips to the grocery store and more.

A Place for Mom has scored Waters of Eden Prairie 8.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
