Look around and compare. I didn't think they offered enough! I heard the owner held his wallet tightly.

My loved one is in assisted living. He pays [Price Removed] a month and they cannot get him his meds. Period. They can't do it. The aides say the meds aren't there - that it's the nurse's job - but the nurse isn't here. There is no hotline, no one is available after hours, there is virtually no help. It's a crazy, scary atmosphere in a beautiful building.

Previous Nursing Director Tested my father for dementia, then refused to allow him to use his Lifelong hearing aids. Memory Care aides out Desserts on the Dinner plates in the Gravy. Outdoor areas were not available to Memory Care patients.

Prairie Bluffs has been a wonderful hope for our loved one. Everyone is so friendly, caring, polite and social with all the residents. They seem to really care individually for each and every resident that is living here. The only downside is the food could use some improvements on taste, not overcooking to where not easy to eat and allow more options for the residents to chose from. Other than that , she is fitting in very nicely and adjusting well. Nothing really but a great fit and great place for mom.

That is if your family member is in the dementia unit which is where my father was. Just like everywhere in the world they are very short staffed. He fell multiple times and cracked two vertebrae and fractured his skull in addition. We believe this contributed to his downfall, we had placed him in here expecting that he would get the care he needed but at one point when he fell was on the floor at one point for two hours. I ended up staying with him the last few weeks he was there so could watch and make sure that he didn't fall. I met with director and the head of nursing to discuss these issues. The staff was very friendly and very kind, they all knew his name Prairie Bluffs was an absolutely beautiful facility . One of the gals that was his favorite she was very personal and took great care with him. They were doing the best.

WE had a very good tour experience with Prairie Bluffs Senior Living. The staff all treated my mom very well while we were here. They were pretty vague on the pricing which is why we decided against them.
Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was absolutely wonderful it is a gorgeous community but just far to expensive

A Place for Mom has scored Prairie Bluffs Senior Living 1.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
