Hi my mom moved into the veranda club and the transition was very smooth from beginning to end thanks to [name removed] and [name removed]. The place is well maintained and the staff is always there if you need assistance.

It's a nice place and makes my dad happy. I wish they would communicate with me more when he was sent to hospital. Anytime a resident leaves via an ambulance their next of kin should be advised. They did not do so. Many times. I would recommend A Place for Mom to others absolutely.

I'm not sure how to rate the value for cost. They raised me 14% the first year and they are going to raise me 20% on my second year lease. I think I need to find out what some of the other places near where I am what they are charging for a one bedroom plus terrace cost per month. I do love my apartment, especially how it's situated in the building. Top floor nice terrace over looking the pool. I should also mention that the best thing about The Veranda Club is the people that work here. They are simply WONDERFUL!!

My loved one was previously a resident at Veranda Club in Independent Living. Since it was Independent Living, there was no supervision. Just an apartment and two meals a day. I would recommend Veranda Club to others.
I looked at 15-20 places and chose Veranda Club. Veranda Club's staff is extremely friendly. They helped my father acclimate. Residences are also very friendly, which was not the case at many of the facilities I looked at. His apartment is spacious and modern. Two doors to bathroom so guests do not need to walk through the bedroom. I am very happy with our choice and would highly recommend.

Veranda Club is a great place to live with great people. We like it because it's out of the way, not on a major road. So it feels very safe. And it backs up onto a lake. They keep everything very clean. The staff is wonderful. Believe it or not, the food is great. And I'm surprised at how much we're getting for what we're paying compared to other places.

We liked the community. However, my loved one choose another community as they enjoyed the residents more.
Great value for the price, good food, friendly staff, great amenities, great location. A definite recommendation.

I really like Veranda Club, this would have been our second choice. I liked that the rooms had kitchenettes in them. The facility was very nice and they were going through renovations at the time. For us it was just too large for my mom.
My Dad had real misgivings about going to the Veranda Assisted Living, but the staff engaged my Dad, made sure that he attended the activities and worked with me on which activities each month I wanted them to encourage him to attend. I was surprised at how much care and concern the staff showed my Dad. You would have thought he was their father. Food was very good and Dad enjoyed it He always got his meds on time and his unit was kept clean and laundry done on time. The place was dated when he entered, but the upgrades made a world of difference. WE visited several facilities before selecting Veranda and were not disappointed with our selection.. The staff is tops.

This facility is very clean and well kept, except for the remodeling that they are doing. We were hoping it wouldn't last too long, but it seems to be going pretty slow and taking longer than expected. Communication is good, except for the business office. They are slow to respond and sometimes I have to escalate my questions to get a response, which I feel like shouldn't be the case. They have several activities, exercise, movies, games for the residents. I've heard no complaints from my parents about the food. But I've seen the menu and it seems limited, not a lot variety. So I think that would be a good improvement. They also offer transportation, if needed. I would recommend them to family and friends, but after remodeling is done.

I toured with Veranda Club and it was beautiful. They were in the midst of renovating the facility but it looked so nice. The apartments were gorgeous. I definitely would have moved here.
I liked this community a lot the people were very nice and the residents were great. This was an older community and they were about to start renovations. This was a second for me but I hesitated due to the renovations.
Our family had an in person tour and this was our second choice, but we did not choose it because they did not have the 24 hour nurse care we were looking for. The rooms are bigger and newer, the people are nice and the staff members were just as accommodating. It was a great tour, the dining hall on the independent side was amazing, but the assisted living side was just of dingy looking. It seemed more like it was an after thought.
Very good experience. Happy with my loved ones being there. I would recommend to check this community out and see if this is the right fit for your loved one. My loved ones have not been there long but it has been good so far.

Our stay was short here. I would tell others that it is undergoing change of ownership. They are also renovating the community. It will be a beautiful community. The staff are very friendly; however the interim nurse is excellent. The interim director took a long time to get back to you. The community is smaller with a homey feel.

I was very, very pleased with them. The food is very, very good. Not 5-star restaurant kind of good, but good. I could not believe all the things included for the price. The value was excellent. It was all-inclusive, with utilities, food, housekeeping, everything. There's a beautiful pool and beautiful walking areas. There's a lake with some bridges in the back with a walkway all around it, and it's just a beautiful location. The apartment was perfect. Because of my health issues, it was easy access, with a nice balcony. They came and cleaned every week. It was very nice. The kitchen was small, but it was perfect for what I needed at the time. Everything was just right.

Everybody has been very friendly, both the staff and the residents. The staff try to accommodate the people who live there as best they can. They don't put a lot of restrictions on them, not counting Covid of course. My loved one was very upset about moving, as probably a lot of people are going from living on their own to moving to a community. But she's happy with it now, has made some friends, and she's glad she's there.

A Place for Mom has scored Veranda Club 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
