The facility is vice & clean but other than that [name removed] was a horrible experience for my family. The staff turnover was constant. They did not do anything but the bare minimum & encourage you to pay for a private aide so they don’t have to do anything. On numerous occasions, when we tried to reach the nurses station w/questions, the voice mail was full or we never received a return call. On one occasion, my mom was taken to the hospital. I received a call at 10 pm from the nurse at [name removed] notifying me of this. I asked for an update asap but never heard back. The next day we found out my mom was still in the hospital but not from [name removed]. [name removed] finally called w/an update but it was at 9 pm the next evening. They show no compassion & blame other staff members when anything went wrong. My mom recently passed away, I called the manager to let them know & the first thing she asked me was when her stuff out of her room! Not even a “we are sorry for your loss."

Constant staff turnover, hard to get in touch with the staff/nurses, we were encouraged to hire an aide for my mother while she was there, no compassion from the staff when my mother passed away - first thing the memory care manager asked us was "when will you have her stuff out". Overall, a very bad experience! Make sure you ask the question regarding the aide! For the amount of money Sinai charges, we were shocked when we told we should/need to hire one for my mother.

A Place for Mom has scored Toby and Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences Boca Raton, a CCRC 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
