The service they provide is really good. The nurses are always there if you need them. My husband says that the meals look good.

I went there and they really care about the patient. The meals are great and my brother likes them. The nurse talks with me about how he is doing and they care. He does not understand because he speaks Spanish and because of his medical condition but they try to help him understand.

We are very impressed and I can't say enough good things about this place! They have a heart for their patients here and they've made a very difficult transition that much easier. This place is CLEAN! Walking in the lobby, the linoleum shines like you want to ice skate on it. The food is very, very good. I was surprised at the quality and the variety of food! They get something new and quite appetizing every day! They keep me informed of what medication they're giving my wife and what steps they are taking for physical therapy.

From what I hear, it is going well for my loved one at Townhouse. He says it's been good. The nursing assistants could be a little friendlier and the overall quality of the food is poor.

The staff care is good and I have no qualms about what they do. The rehab has been okay but I haven't seen a doctor yet.

I am happy that there is good communication. I have been in contact with the social worker and she is very professional, listens, and she gets back to me with my questions. I spoke with the therapist as well. The nursing care is very good with the new unit and the charge nurse is very involved with making the appointments for my loved one. Some of the staff are better than others. She was moved to another unit and so far, it seems better staffed. With the new unit, the aides seem more attentive. The place is fairly clean and they do call housekeeping if there is a concern. The only thing is, the floor is not as nice and shiny as it could be.

The staff says my loved one is so cute and sweet. The staff care is good, they give him a lot of attention and they are interested in helping him. I am happy with the nursing care and they give him his medicine. It is clean, the meals are good and they even gave me a guest tray and I like it. I spoke with the social worker and she updated and she welcomed me. The night crew is not as good as the morning crew.

The communication so far has been good. The girls there have been helping my mother laugh and help with her meals. Everyone has been very friendly to my mother and I like that.

Every time I see my loved one she is getting good care. She isn't too fond of the meals that she gets though.

They are clear and communicate the plan for my loved one with me. I do think that the response times to call lights was a little slow.

The communication was good and the nurses were great. I did feel that it was dirty and they were short of supplies.

There are a couple of staff members that have been great. They come in acknowledge me and take good care and then there are others that do not really speak. Some of the nursing assistants are very, very good and others are not. Also, some of the nursing assistants get annoyed when I put my call light on. So far, I have received no communication and the cleanliness is not the greatest. There is not a lot of disinfecting taking place and I do not like how they disinfect the floor.

The communication is great and the people we talked to were nice. The manager, the doctor and one of the nurses were nice. The staff friendliness was great, that's not a problem but I'm not happy and I don't like the system they have. My husband is at risk for falling down, and they just leave him in a wheelchair all day.

The nurses are nice and they come and take care of my loved one. They are doing what they can do. The meals are not that good. She is on a diet restriction and there is stuff she shouldn't be eating so I have to bring her food. The communication is not good. I tried to call today and nobody has called me back. The dining room floor needs to be cleaned.

If your loved one is a Type 1 Diabetic, steer clear of this facility. Even though it was nice inside and some of the nurses were good, within 30 days they were not able to control my husband's sugar and led him back to the hospital DKA (Ketoacidosis-blood sugar too high for too long) , which is very bad for a diabetic. No apology was ever given for causing him to have a heart attack. And their policy of 1 hr a day of Physical therapy and the rest of the day in the chair or bed, didn't cut it and his legs atrophied to the point of not being able to walk again. He was walking with a walker, but not allowed to walk at any other time, so much for being a REHAB, they were more interested in money (up to 100 days covered-you are urged to get AARP supplemental as you walk in the door) than getting my husband well and walking again!

I am happy. I walked around and saw the facility and it is very clean and nice. So far it is a pleasant experience. She is getting arm weights and it is a good thing. They are very pleasant. They go out of their way to let me know the services available. I am pleased with them. Everybody is very pleasant. I am very happy with it and I see a lot of cleaning going on. It has a very clean look to me. It does not have that old nursing home kind of smell. They have a lot of meal choices and the dining is great. I have had a few calls to update me with what they are doing.

A Place for Mom has scored Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehab 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
