Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehab

My sister is telling me that she is really happy with the care she is receiving. She has said everybody has been very friendly! She loves their meals! I sure would recommend them. The communication has been great!

My loved one gets along with almost everybody. She seems to like the nurses. The dietitian and the head nurse, and the physical therapists all talked to me individually over the phone. She's not happy with some things, like transportation. They take her all day. She doesn't like their food.

It is pretty clean there. The staff is friendly and kind. Some nurses are good and some are not good. I sort of have to be on top of their rehab. The second weekend she did not get occupational therapy. They only gave her a shower after I asked about it. My mother kept ringing the bell to get out of bed. I have to seek people out to get updates. They should come and seek us out to update us.

My loved one is pretty happy there. The rehabilitation woman was very nice and did wonders with him. Two of the girls are very willing to accommodate whenever I ask for any help. They are very nice. Some of the aides aren't doing their job as I think they should be. The cleanliness is fine. I don't see any problems. The meals are just great. I think the portions are a little small, he could be getting more. I haven't spoken to anyone yet. The communication hasn't been too good because I'd like to know more. I don't ask anyone any questions but they should be reaching out to me.

My loved one is content. They have a nice courtyard and the people are nice. My loved one is getting the care he needs. The nurses are very competent. He says the meals are very good. They called me the first night but I have not heard from them since then. They may only call me when something happens but I would like more updates.

The physical therapist and occupational therapist were very friendly. They took into consideration what my mom's goals and needs were. Everyone was really friendly. They have a lot of good nurses and support staff, I was really impressed with that. It is very clean. Linens were often changed. The only thing I did notice is, that they were very understaffed. My mother wasn't too thrilled about a lot of their food. I think that could have been improved. I know a lot of it was overcooked. No one went out of their way to let me know what was going on. They would tell her, and she would tell me.

My loved one said their rehab therapy is very good! She is walking well and is walking three or four steps. The staff friendliness is okay. The receptionist person is not very friendly. The nurses are not well informed and the continuity is not good. A lot of times she leaves the meals and then they will make a sandwich for her. If we do not ask, we do not get updates. They should let us know more about what is going on from the doctor.

The physical and occupational therapists have done a great job. They've answered a lot of questions. The few aides I have experiences with have all been very nice. It's spotless in there. Every time I go in there, there is never a soul at the nurse's station. There is a lack of communication. I left messages, but the relay is lacking in some places. I've never got a call back.

The rehab therapists have been very nice to us. From a communication and social standpoint, they've been the highlight of the stay. It is very clean. The nursing care is good. The staff friendliness is good and bad. There isn't a particular shift or pattern I've seen, it's just across the board. The meals are not good. She really doesn't eat anything from there.

I have not seen anything great yet. Sometimes they take a long time to attend to the patient. He has his meals in his room. They do not call me unless they need to find out something. The social worker called to ask questions but I have to approach them.

My mother is there for physical therapy and she is doing well with this. My aunt and cousin were there and that is why I brought her there. It is very clean here and that is another reason why I put her here. When my mother goes to the physical therapy she said they were not nice to some of the other residents. She said some of the staff are not nice. She seems to be satisfied with most of the food. Some food is given in large portions and she is not a big eater. The communication is fine. They told me my mom did not communicate that she felt bad.

being there has helped her. The staff really cares for the patients, the therapists did their job and got her on her feet again. The dining staff is doing what is required, feeding her and the food is on time. I was a little upset the doctors were on vacation because I had no guidance or information on the protocol for bringing food in, but I understand it was a holiday weekend. Some doctors have a lot of patients, so I had some questions that were not answered because they had to contact the doctor.

But other than the physical therapy there isn't really much to keep me updated on.

I have been recommending the facility to others! As a whole, everyone has been so friendly. The building is presentable and clean. I am sitting here with my mother right now as a matter of fact and everything looks clean to me. We are very happy with the facility and everyone is so pleasant. They are very good with their communication. Whenever I ask a question, they are right there to answer it. When I stop by the nurses' station, they are so pleasant and look up whatever information I am asking about in the computer. They have been great!

The staff is attentive. My brother has commented that every person he had been in touch with, was very helpful and cooperative. Generally speaking, he has been pleased with the quality of service and the food is excellent! They haven't got him to engage as much in activities as they should but I don't think that's their fault.

Everyone here is doing an excellent job with my loved one. The meals are good and the communication is good too.
