After returning from the hospital last week have noticed marked improvement in all categories. I would recommend The Wellstead community to other families, however, with explanation of what went on the first two months

We’re happy to hear about the improvements you've seen since your loved one returned to the community. I would love to discuss your experience further so we can continue enhancing our services. The nursing staff & aides are wonderful! I can tell they truly care for the residents. They take time to get to know them as well as their family members that come to visit. They are trying to improve the food & options. As of last May, they were changing vendors.

It has a nice, clean atmosphere, lots of activities, and kind people. My mom is at a pool-party right now! It's been a very good place. My mom really likes the people, and they genuinely seem to care for her.

September 11, 2024We’re thrilled your mom is having a blast at the pool party—sounds like she’s loving life here! We're so happy to read she’s enjoying the warm and welcoming community and that she feels well cared for, and we’re so glad it’s made a positive impact on both of you!
My parents moved into Diamondcrest 2 years ago and were extremely happy at first. Since then they have had difficulty keeping staff, being short staffed and undertrained staff. The food was amazing at first, now it is barely edible and my mom has lost quite a bit of weight. There are a few excellent aids that feel like family, most employees come and go so quickly that they are strangers. My dad died last summer, my mom is now alone and being dressed and bathed, at her most vulnerable, with people she’s never even met. It is heartbreaking and we are considering moving her to a different facility.

It was a really good choice for them at the time. However, dad is now in long-term care and mom recently passed. I would recommend to others.

April 5, 2024Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your experience at The Wellstead of Rogers & Diamondcrest. We're glad to know the community was such a good fit for your parents. Our condolences on the loss of your mom, and our best wishes go out to your dad.
My loved one is currently a resident at The Wellstead. Most everything has been great, so far. Although, I'm not sure that they have enough options for my loved one at meal time if she doesn't want what is being served. She seems to like the food, but she is also a picky eater.

There is not much selection for breakfast and lunch. Supper seems to be good. This is what my loved one told me about the food.

January 24, 2024Thanks for your review. We're glad to read that your loved one enjoys our dinners. While we do offer a variety of options for breakfast and lunches, we hope that you will encourage them to attend our monthly food services meeting as we are always looking for resident feedback on our menus and service.
Diamondcrest Senior Living is beautiful. It is very nice, and well kept with many social areas that are pleasant to spend time in. The Activities Director is fantastic. She arranges and manages a wide variety of things to do. The staff have been wonderful. They are very good at what they do and have always been very kind and honestly caring toward my mom. My mom loves them. The food is great. There has been a wide variety of meals. They have also been willing to tailor meal choices to my mom's preferences and abilities. In short, Diamondcrest has been a blessing. I can't say enough nice things about them. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

October 31, 2023Thanks for your review BJ! We were thrilled to read your mom loves the many programs put on by our Lifestyle 360 team and appreciate your shout out for our activities director. It was also wonderful to read that your mom enjoys meals at Diamondcrest and are glad that the team's desire to tailor meals to her needs and desires has not gone unnoticed. We are honored she calls The Wellstead of Rogers & Diamondcrest her home and honored by your enthusiastic recommendation!
The Wellstead of Rogers and Diamondcrest community have really set a high bar for other communities to reach in the area. What our family likes the most about this community is the staff in all areas - they are helpful and pleasant to work with. The facility is extremely clean and we would definitely recommend them to other families based on our experience so far.

October 26, 2023Thank you for this wonderful feedback. We appreciate your recognition of our amazing team and are honored by your enthusiastic recommendation.
We were impressed with the layout of the rooms at Wellstead, and the overall space. Bright and lots of windows, especially the unit we got. There were a few minor issues early on, but they were addressed promptly. Both parents are very happy with the meals, a surprise! The staff were helpful and concerned, right down to Housekeeping. I would recommend The Wellstead of Rogers to others without hesitation!

March 22, 2023Thanks for sharing the story of your experience at The Wellstead of Rogers. We were glad to read that you are very happy with the apartment you chose, and that any initial issues were quickly resolved. It is wonderful to know that your parents love the meals, and appreciate both your kind words for our team and your enthusiastic recommendation!
What they "sell" and what you get are completely different things. They talk about services, activities, and a bridge to rediscovering who your loved one is, that is only talk.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience, and hope we are able to speak soon,
We chose The Wellstead because when I started looking around I liked the location of the facility and it came recommended to us. The tour was really nice and the people were all great and very helpful. We have a private room and it is larger than the other 2 places that she has been. The common areas are really neat, they do things like ice cream socials every afternoon, they have a shop, music, etc. I would recommend to others looking.

While not the right fit for my dad at this time, I was very impressed with [name removed]. He was honest, helpful, informational and caring. Wellstead of Rogers is definitely worth checking out.

Very nice place, really glad they had immediate availability and took advantage of that. Staff and residents engaging, clean, bright, open feeling throughout the entire complex. Like the hometown feeling. Apt is perfectly located for my mom. Very happy she is moving in.

Do not put your loved one here. My Mom was in the memory unit skilled care. They make care plans they do not follow. There was no way my Mom was toileted every 4 hours let alone every 2 hours like the care plan stated and she did not receive fluids every hour as a care plan stated yet staff signed off daily in a log book they did these things. The only time she got sent to the hospital for an issue was when we pressured them to do so and every visit to the emergency ended up in a hospitalization. Reported these issues to the department of health after our Mother died. Don't even bother with the Dept. of Health they just go in and look at the log books that are all lies filled with initials of staff stating they did things they didn't and so the Dept. of Health states the nursing home followed protocol.Always short staffed. High staff turnover.

I toured Wellstead while looking for living options for my father, and while I thought the facility itself was good, I really was not impressed with the woman who gave the tour. She did know what she was talking about, and was informative, but she gave the impression that she wasn’t really involved with the residents. When I saw her interacting with them, she didn’t know people by name, and the conversations just seemed wooden. As I said before, even though the community itself was nice-looking, I wasn’t really made to feel comfortable by the staff and the people there, so I ultimately chose a different community for my father.

November 20, 2017I am the Executive Director and would like to thank you sharing your thoughts with us. Our goal is to provide a warm and inviting residence and I am sorry you did not feel that during your recent visit. All of our team members work hard to get to know all the residents and enjoying spending time with them. We wish your father well in his new home, and invite you to come back and visit us again if the need arises.
It's going much better here at The Wellstead of Rogers & Diamondcrest since they have moved mom into another unit where the residents are more compatible with her mind set. We really like the fact this community is all about memory care. My dad and I visit my mom often and the staff is very welcoming when we come and spend time with her. The staff is excellent, there is a good staff to resident ratio. They are still getting to know my mom and give her the best care possible. My dad has dined here with mom and he thinks the food is very good. It is served family style and there are choices for the main courses with lots of variety. They have an ice cream social every day. They have a locked patio courtyard that we can have BBQ's and hold family events. We are still settling in but we feel she is a safe environment and well cared for.
