5 for all, our Mom received great care and she was a difficult patient. Based on the experience we have had, we would absolutely recommend Stoney River to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

I would say it's ok and probably getting better. They have had staffing issues and you want to check on them a lot (your parent).

Upon visiting other Assisted Livings, Stoney River steals your heart. From the staff, the residents, to the decor. Every other establishment I went to was bland, lacked color, and “home” feel. It felt like a hospital. Stoney River has been great and my father has grown personable with the other residents and employees. Grateful for Stoney and their efforts to make the transition from “home to new home”.

Unfortunately, the head person let good people go and it never was the same. My family member had, on more than one occasion, had three men enter his apartment after 10:30 at night to "get his laundry" and he never felt safe and refused to let anyone (staff) in his apartment and took on his own laundry and cleaning. The administrator said he suffered from hallucinations, which he never had on his life!! NOTHING was done!!! No communication with family either!! Disappointing! I would not put anyone back there! Having said that....other residents were great....but just as unhappy!

Friendly staff, caring nurses, beautiful building. Too bad their care levels are limited. We had to move out.

My loved one was previously a resident at Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Support and the overall experience was okay. However, my friend's mom is currently a resident there. Due to new leadership that came in, along with many new staff members, things seem to be greatly improved. So that is awesome!

Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Support is a beautiful building. They recognized early on that hospice care would be beneficial and arranged for that. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to other families.

It's not as nice as it was when mom first started living there due to a change in ownership. There seems to be fewer aides helping the residents. However, there are therapists available who are marvelous. Mom's occupational therapist has been wonderful; she's got mom moving her wheelchair with her feet. The activity helping with her loss of short term memory.

Staff have overall been good other than the common turnover I do feel overall they are working towards doing a good job. I have heard that the food is cold when served.

I would recommend to others. Only complaint is urine smell in common areas. So far so good. I picked this community because of the all inclusive pricing.

I would rate all of them a 5. The staff was awesome. Very responsive, prompt and caring. Although my mom didn't use the activities, I saw them throughout the building and she would have enjoyed them if she could have. I really liked the look of the facility. It was very spacious and pleasant. Awesome places to sit and visit. Nice location. Well cared for.

I liked Stoney River a lot when I was looking for place for my mom. It offers a lot of activities and bells and whistles that my Mom, in her condition, would not be able to take advantage of, so that was the reason we decided on another facility.
We were very excited about this place at first. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful but it was very frustrating trying to get things fixed. I'm not sure how a resident that doesn't have a strong support system to help them with problems. The business staff and the facility director never answer their phone or return voice mails. I cannot recommend this facility

Response from Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Support
October 11, 2023Terry, Thank you for sharing your feedback about Stoney River Ramsey. We are sincerely disappointed to learn you have experienced difficulties in reaching our team. Be assured, our team works very hard to enhance our residents’ health and wellness each day through quality care, values-driven service, and a warm, welcoming community. Please know we would very much like to connect with you. Please call 763-999-5066 and ask to speak with Executive Director Jill Wippler. Thank you in advance for your time.
First of all, Assisted Living are going to be expensive. It's what you get for the money that's important. What sold us was the family atmosphere. The care givers are kind and considerate. They could use a couple more employees but that's typical, there is a shortage in the medical field.

This facility is beautiful and feels like home. The staff is very helpful and friendly, however I feel in some areas they need additional staffing. The residents do complain about the meals and the time the doors lock at night.

they try their best to make living here as good as it can be. Not every place is perfect and this one has it's faults as well. They need more activities to participate in. The ones they have can't be done by many of the residents. The food is totally unacceptable.. they need a variety in the breakfast menu. Everything is the same on the lunch and dinner menus day after day. If they are getting you to lose weight, eat here for a couple weeks. But I think I am doing okay here.

I spoke with his best friend and my POA backup as he goes there twice a week. We collectively agree all 7 categories get 5 stars. We have been in and out of 3 places in 6 months and these folks have been best suited to deal with my uncle and his memory challenges and make him "mostly" comfortable. Plus the staff are always responsive to calls and emails. His room size here that he got is pretty small, but I am unsure of the other rooms in the facility.

A Place for Mom has scored Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Support 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
