I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. There is a management change, and they have been forthright in this scenario and all the information and if they are more than willing to fix anything that is brought to their attention. The staff are very nice to my loved one. My loved one is eating, and eating different kind of foods. My loved one looks better, and the staff are keeping my loved one well hydrated. Laundry, transportation, snacks, meals, housekeeping, and the room is included in the monthly rate and the in house doctor. There is an individual that comes in to cut my loved one's hair. The community works well with Hospice. This isn't a giant community. The staff gets to know the residents and family members. The community has plenty of room for the residents to roam.... Read more

The director was wonderful and the knowledge they had was amazing! One of the only reasons we didn't go was that the community had lots residents and the community felt dark. I believe the care would have been great here and the director seemed to really care about the residents in the community.

This is a nice place. The staff works hard in taking care of the residents. This is a clean community. The community is short staffed like others are due to the pandemic. They are very friendly. There are activities, it would be nice to see the staff get more residents involved in the activities available. There is always someone to assist the family and resident requests. They only take memory care residents. Preserve at Beavercreek is providing safety, remembering to get dressed, and hygiene care for my loved one. There are three meals a day and a snack for the residents. There are two enclosed courtyards for the residents to walk around in. Beavercreek is good about letting the family take our loved one out to enjoy the time with them outside of the community.

The staff at the Preserve have done a great job taking care of our loved one. She has made a lot of friends, and she is really treated like family. She is enjoying all the meals being served and enjoys the activities during the days. It is a real family orientated community.

When my loved one first entered she had a bit of an adjustment period with the workers and trying to figure out how to handle things but once she was settled in things have settled also. This whole community is focused on memory care and I like the fact that everyone is focused on the care of the residents.

Response from The Ridge at Beavercreek
September 7, 2021We are pleased to hear that your experience with us was a good one! Here at the Preserve at Beavercreek we value all of our customer’s experiences and love hearing their feedback. Thank you again for your words of praise and we hope to continue having positive experiences with you in the future!
Due to our loved ones state of dementia they were not able to eat much, but the staff did a great job tending to his needs and wants, and always gave hi plenty of cookies. They activities were offered all the tie and had a wide variety of things to do. It was expensive but we do think the value for cost was excellent. They took such great care of our loved one, they really gave our family a peace of mind.

We have been really pleased with our experience so far at Preserve at Beavercreek. We chose this facility because we wanted to make sure she had the best Alzheimer's care that she could. The company who owns this facility has had nothing but good reviews at other places that they own. It is also close to family which was a bonus. Overall, anybody could put their loved one in here to get the care that they need without any question. We do not have to worry about her at all. With all the covid stuff going on they have been doing weekly zoom calls as well to keep us informed.

I had been looking for a place for my wife with the help of "A Place for Mom". Preserve at Beavercreek was one of their recommendations. After reviewing several of the other recommendations, I settled on Preserve at Beavercreek for a number of reasons. It was a new facility only opening in a few weeks. But I was ready. My wife and I discussed what she wanted when the time was right. She said that the most important issues were her safety and a staff that would care for her with her dignity in mind. She also did not want to spend money on things she won't use. Preserve met her needs perfectly and was in a great location with easy access for the family to visit. Time can sneak up on you and it did for us. My wife knew that it was getting near long before I did. It was very difficult for me to face the fact that I could no longer safely care for the women I love. But the time had come and the Preserve staff made it a smooth transition. The LPNs and caregivers are well trained and very caring. They show dignity to those in their care and carry out their work safely. The Preserve at Beavercreek was the right decision for our family. My wife has adjusted to her new home and feels well cared for and safe.

I moved my husband into Preserve at Beavercreek in Sept. 2019. The staff at Preserve at Beavercreek are very caring and patient with the dementia patients/residents. The facility is clean and well maintained (The Housekeeping Dept. cleans the residents' rooms.) The food is good. The atmosphere is very homey.

Moving Mom from her Assisted Living situation to Memory Care has been a true blessing. Her emotional state has improved significantly since she has moved to the Preserve at Beavercreek. In spite of her significant constraints, hearing, vision and memory function, at age 99 she is making friends, developing new routines , and appears to be adjusting well. And this is all despite rather significant turnover in leadership roles in the few months she has been there. The entire staff at the Preserve is trained and knowledgeable about how to support her dementia -- a key difference from Assisted Living, where some understood instinctively, but none were trained.

A Place for Mom has scored The Ridge at Beavercreek 6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
