They have changed directors 4 times in the past 2 years so that creates some concern but so far, the new one seems good. Housekeeping is very poor with them barely doing much in their weekly cleaning. I think it's much better since First Community took over from [name removed] but you never convince me that paying [removed]k a month is a good value for the cats they receive.. no matter what assisted living you are in

Memory Care-We found the quality of care to be highly inadequate. Residents were left unattended for hours at a time. Residents were left in soiled clothing. Family member's room was not cleaned & laundry not done multiple weeks at a time. I took laundry home & dusted/cleaned myself. Showers were rarely given despite being told it would be a weekly occurrence. High staff turnover. My understanding is that Assisted Living is a pleasant experience.

We love The Patterson! The facility is beautiful and clean with lots of comfy books for puzzles, reading, watching programs, it just visiting. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. They always update us when we visit about how's she's been doing...getting out to socialize, eating, sleeping.

The staff is very sweet and caring and really watches out for my dad. I am very frustrated with their billing department. We have been there since the end of May and they still haven't gotten his bill correct.

What I like the most about The Patterson is the friendliness staff, and the delicious good. They have three option levels of dining service. I like the availability of the medical staff and overall they have beautiful facilities.

Had a relative at the facility who has since passed. The time she spent there were among her happiest. Staff was attentive, caring, and personable. The facility itself is beautiful. And, the food options were magnificent and delicious! Highly recommended!!

I toured Harbor Chase and the facility itself was beautiful and glamorous however what turned me off completely was when it was said “the food is our top priority… and of course care too”. People are placing their loved ones in these facilities to have peace of mind. When the food is the most important and the care is second to the food? You’re in the wrong business. Open a restaurant instead of an assisted living facility. The nurse on staff when I toured did not seem friendly whatsoever either. Just not very inviting even with the beautiful shell of a building. The care and peace of mind is what people are paying for…. I hope they realize that is more important than their upscale restaurants.

There is lots of turn over in employees, but this seems to be the norm in the industry as a whole. The facility was clean and I liked the employees. I think their starting pay rate is a bit higher so they get a better employee. I felt good about the care my mom received there although she did decline rapidly. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with a different doctor and would have done more weight checks on my mom.

We weren't as happy at HarborChase as we thought we would be. It's a beautiful place. But there is a huge turnover, even in management in just the first 6 months we were there. I think they are very understaffed in the memory care side - I think it's too big for the amount of staff they have. Too many pool nurses I heard. And the pool staff is not of the same caliber as the regular staff. Not properly trained to handle certain situations. Moved my loved one to a smaller, better run facility.

My loved one is a resident at HarborChase of Beavercreek. The turnover at this facility is bad. I think in this climate with lack of resources, meaning that it seems impossible to get folks to work or stay once employed, I don't know what the solution is. Maybe stay bonuses and better management would be a good start! My loved one is safe, but as a whole, this system can be a lot better! I would only recommend this facility to others if you are going to be involved, but of course it's true in all facilities!

Our family had an in person tour with HarborChase of Beavercreek and overall it was a good tour experience. They have the best restaurant options as well compared to other communities we had looked at. It is like living at a vacation resort, if you could afford it. They were the most expensive. My in-laws would not have been comfortable there at all. They were a bit over the top.
Read MoreAbsolutely, the WORST care I have ever experienced for my loved one. I wouldn’t send me dog to this place to be looked after. The administration and staff give the poorest care I have EVER seen. I have NOTHING good to say about this facility.

What stood out to us about this community was the great food, and the place was new and clean. But we had a pretty horrible experience overall. The staff completely ignored my dad (who has a lot of needs), and the front office staff were terrible at communicating with my sister and me. We moved our dad to a new facility last month. I would very much not recommend HarborChase of Beavercreek. They were severely understaffed. I know everyone is, and it's not their fault, so I cut them some slack for that. But the management was really bad, and we never got the impression that they cared.

This community was beautiful, the community is a newer community and very updated. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable when we visited.
Visually, it is a beautiful facility. Food is pretty good. I hesitate to recommend it because they are severely short-staffed on care partners and managers. In the six months my family member has been there, two Memory Care Directors have walked off the job, 2 Activities Directors have left (leaving zero supervision in Memory Care), the Business Director quit, the Sales Director left the day after we got there & yesterday, the Director for Care gave her two weeks notice. We had finally had a meeting to review my family member's basic care after 6 months of requesting and she gave notice the next day. We are nice and not demanding. I am there every day. Several memory care families are working/supporting each other so we look out for each other's relatives when we are in the building because of the turmoil. I shudder to think what would happen if my parent was high maintenance.

HarborChase of Beavercreek is a great facility with great care. The activities were a little better when we first started - there just haven't been as many recently.

The community is really good; however, the family must be available for support for your loved one. The staff communication with the family could be improve upon, especially with the responsiveness to the family's questions. There are three meals a day for the residents, and there are choices to choose from. The only concern I have is the the length of time for the residents to enjoy the meal, and assisting the residents in eating their meals. All the residents go to the dining room and eats together and this allows the residents in memory care to socialize. The community is very clean and organized especially in the dining room. There is staff turnover overall in the community.
