It’s a clean facility first of all. Staff is friendly. The med techs are all very nice. There is as much interaction as needed. It’s good for residents that want to be preoccupied as they have many activities but also good for those that prefer to be left to their own devices. I have had no major issues. As with all things, however, one must be as involved as they can be to make sure things are running smoothly. Personally, I liked to be informed of what is going on with my loved one. Overall, I am content with this facility and the professionalism I have encountered.... Read more

We are happy with the care that my mom is getting at this community . The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that she is happy. The activity director is very helpful with trying to help my mom participate to keep her active. The meals are good and improving with a variety of dishes to choose from. The very clean facility for her to be comfortable. We give this community a good recommendation for others and their loved onces.

The process of getting mother a place to live was very easy at The Hampton at Meadows Place. The staff made us feel welcome and answered any and all questions and concerns we had or have had since she moved there. The food is tasty and well presented, the rooms are light and she is encouraged to make it her own with decorations and pictures. She is now participating in all activities available to her and enjoying them. I am happy with the care she is receiving.

My tour of the facility went very well. The community looked very well maintained. The staff was nice and friendly and showed me all around the community. They answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable. It was a just a little bit expensive for my mother's budget. Overall it is a nice community and I would suggest anyone to take a tour.

My dad is doing well since moving in. I think The Hampton at Meadows Place could use more activities in the memory care unit. There is only one food option for the residents. They also need more fruits and vegetables on the menu. The community is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this community but I would say do your homework first.

Response from The Hampton at Meadows Place
June 6, 2016Thank you for your valuable input. It is always our pleasure to serve our friends and neighbors who have chosen to call The Hampton home. Although our menu currently does not list our alternatives, we will list our alternatives moving forward, which are available 7 days per week twice per day. Our staff also creates special needs diets, and is willing to make something not listed as long as we have it available in our kitchen. In addition, we offer fresh fruits during all meals and throughout the day at our hydration stations on every floor. I would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your experience, and invite you to reach out directly at [removed] at your convenience. Thank you again for your input; Kevin Garriga, Executive Director
My husband is doing very well at The Hampton. The staff are nice and attentive to the residents and their families. The food is ok and the community is kept clean and is well maintained. They do offer a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy.

Overall I am pleased with the care my mother receives. Although an attractive community, some areas are due for a makeover. Perhaps long term capital plan with new owners could include the refresh of dining rooms and public restrooms. Staff is very attentive and patient with residents. Many staff members have been there for several years. The activities are plentiful, i just wish arts and crafts was offered more often.

Toured - like - several floors - gazebo out back - gates reduce walk-on traffic and walk-off residents. Noted several care staff about during the day as a part of work and services - I liked that.

Response from The Hampton at Meadows Place
February 15, 2016Thank you so much for taking time to provide us with feedback about your visit to The Hampton! We were so glad to hear you enjoyed touring our grounds and observed some of our wonderful staff team out and about. If you have any further questions or feedback for us, we would truly appreciate the opportunity to connect directly about your experience. Thanks again from all of us at The Hampton! – Kevin Garriga, Executive Director.
At The Hampton at Meadows Place the needs my dad had were greater than they provided. We had issues with the staff. They placed him in assisted living and they felt they were having to give him care that they don't normally provide. I explained the issues that he had before moving him here and they said they would be able to work with him, however that turned out not to be the case. The facility itself was nice, I just wish I would have had more information up front as to what all care they provide.

The place is beautiful, but my father did not eat or was not fed for three (3) days Because he eould not go to the cafeteria ut he was too weak to walk or roll himself I feel somepne was very wrong. When I pulled him out I was threatened, then, I received a bill for medication for over $600. I was not given nor was the ambulance service that picked him up given any of his medications. The medicatoons were for 90 days. He went to Altus hospice and shortly afterwards he passed away. I would not want anyone to ever experience what I experienced. I pray that some common sense iniatives happen sooner than later. .

As far as the Hampton themselves, the reason I gave the first rating a four is because I haven't seen anything in writing as far as what i'm being charged for. Initially there were some things we were going to be using, but turns out my mother does not need them and I don't know if I'm being charged for it. It's been a little difficult trying to talk to the doctor because she is only there Tuesdays and Thursdays, but overall I've been really pleased with it.

Everything has been really good. My grandma has said she wishes she had moved in a long time ago, when I first started telling her to. I would give them about a four.

The Hampton at Meadows Place is a very nice lovely facility. They got my mothers room ready on time, but there have been a few issues since then where they have not delivered on what was promised, have not returned phone calls, etc. They are very busy and may be a little understaffed based on what I have observed.

From the moment I walked into The Hampton at Meadows Place, I new it was the place that I wanted my mother to be at. Even though she was only there a few days before she passed away, the staff and every caregiver there tended to her every need. She needed full maximum care and they gave it to her. I wish that she had been able to enjoy it for a while!

I think its a very nice facility. It is well kept up. It is very attractive looking. It is also roomy. The food is fair, not the best. The Hampton at Meadows Place is a nice facility that I would recommend.

We are very happy with them. We are very happy with all of their services. We don't have any complaints about food or not having enough activities and being bored. Things are working out well so far.

It's a nice place, and I liked the majority of the people I have met and dealt with. However the care there is lacking. My loved one ended up with a bedsore from lack of care. I've been told the night staff is argumentative, and I have gotten phone calls because no one answered the call bell for an extremely long time. They were very attentive the first couple of weeks, but after that I felt like we became just another number here.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. We were impressed by what we saw here, it seems like a really good place.

A Place for Mom has scored The Hampton at Meadows Place 8.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
