It’s a clean facility first of all. Staff is friendly. The med techs are all very nice. There is as much interaction as needed. It’s good for residents that want to be preoccupied as they have many activities but also good for those that prefer to be left to their own devices. I have had no major issues. As with all things, however, one must be as involved as they can be to make sure things are running smoothly. Personally, I liked to be informed of what is going on with my loved one. June 12, 2024Thank you so much for your kind words and the wonderful 4-star review! I wouldn't recommend the community to anyone, and not to bother viewing the community for anyone that is mobile. The staff want the residents to be calm and not agitated. The Executive Director, [name removed] was very accommodating and pleasant during the tour and signing up was great. We received bad advice from the community about how to get my loved one into the community and leave my loved one. The family received a call right after our loved one moving in, asking for us to come get my loved one out of the community. This is because our loved one was agitated as they didn't want to be here. I have requested the community fee be returned to us, and there has been no follow up with the community. There are no male aides or nurses in the community to assist residents in the memory care unit.

The Hampton at Meadows Place is a very very nice community, it is very modern and the staff team that works there has been there for quite sometime so they know all the residents by name. The director will even walk around greeting the residents. They do have family activities every months and holiday parties as well as daily activities. The care givers really seem to be committed to giving the residents the best possible care and we would recommend this community to other families.

December 5, 2022Thank you for leaving us such a great review!
So far it has been a good place for mom, it is a nice place
I was very happy with them. I thought it was a very clean, friendly, well-rounded place. I really enjoyed everyone I ran into there. They did a great job. They were very helpful. If you needed something, they would take care of it for you. And my loved one ended up needing a lot. I felt like I my loved one was always receiving great care, and that made me really happy. There were some ownership changes going on, one when we moved in, then another change when we were moving out. That didn't affect the care provided at all, but came into play with some admin things for the family. We didn't mind, as we thought they were always trying to improve the community with any changes they made. The building had great presentation - when walking in you felt like you were walking into a 4-star hotel. We chose Hampton over several places. There were others that were less expensive, some were too big, some too small. Hampton wasn't the cheapest but certainly seemed like for the money it was the best value. I've been very happy with Hampton all the way through.

April 20, 2021Michael, Thank you so much for trusting us to care for your loved one. We strive to make sure our care is 5 star, no matter what is going on behind the scenes (management change). We certainly appreciate you and your review!
In June, my Mom will be a resident of The Hamptons for 4-years. When we were tasked to find a facility for my Mom due to Dementia, the great thing was that we were familiar, but had no clue on the actual service that they provide. I'm not sure how we would have made it without the amazing care and service from [names removed], and the entire team during this COVID season. We truly appreciate the care, attention, and awareness that they provide my Mom during this stage of her life. You never know the task in life that we have to manage, but we are grateful to God that my Mom is at a facility that is clean, progressive, and truly cares about their residents. PS - The rating on the cleanliness is due to being unable to see my Mom's room due to Covid. The rating is based on recent pictures. Thank you so much!

April 20, 2021Sonya, thank you so much for your kind words. It is/was very important for us to make sure families feel confident in their decision to trust their parents and loved ones with us, especially during unprecedented times like Covid.
From our standpoint, I think the most important thing is that they were able to offer diabetes management. We chose this community because of this reason and that he would be able to live in an assisted living because he wasn't ready for a nursing home yet. The caregivers are great. The food is good and they are able to offer a diabetic diet to him. The staff have been great in accommodating, managing, and persuading him to make better choices according to his dietary restrictions. I would recommend this community to other families.

July 16, 2020Your recommendation means a great deal to our community! We're proud of our diabetes management program and we're glad to hear you're impressed too. We'll pass along your kind words!
Initial transition into the residence was not a smooth and coordinated as I would have expected. However, the property, staff and food are good. There were some challenges coordinating and understanding who to discuss concerns related to care, medications, etc; so I would end up contacting multiple staff with my questions. I have since received additional guidance around who is responsible for handling patient care, administration of medication, housekeeping, etc so I feel better about my decision to move my family member here. There are several activities scheduled every day; great tasting, healthy meals and friendly staff. I wish there were more nurses on duty though especially on weekends and evenings. Overall, the facility and property are clean and properly maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful and really seem to care about their residents and their families. I have peace of mind knowing that my parent is safe, eating the right things and taking medication as described. I love the diversity of the community and the staff as it is a great reflection of the neighborhood where we live.

We hear your feedback about communicating roles within our community better to new families and will pass your kind words onto our deserving staff. Warm wishes to you!
I have been very pleased with all the staff and the way they are with my dad. I am so happy he is there. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I know he is well cared for and they keep him active.

September 11, 2019Thank you, Lesley! We are so glad that you are happy with the care your father is receiving and that you feel he stays active in our community. We are glad he has made a home here and will pass your kind words to our staff.
I was searching for a senior assisted living facility for my elderly parents that have been living with me for the past 13 years. The Hamptons at Meadows Place was very accommodating when it spoke of meeting my families needs, my mom has a dog that is her life line and they were willing to give it a try. They worked at meeting our financial needs and said all the right things to make us choose them as my parents next home. These first 3 weeks have been challenging as we all work towards finding a workable routine for my parents. The promises made toward their care has been slow in coming as the adjustment to my mom’s dog has been challenging. There is no procedure for new residents to welcome them and make them feel wanted. Three weeks in and I’m still unsure who is to take care of and aide my parents on a daily bases, a “team” atmosphere is missing. It would go along way if new residents were assigned one person they could go to for answers and someone to show them and their family how things work. The administrative staff has been good at listening to my frustration but slow in my opinion to following through on solving the problems. When it comes to providing for your elderly parents time is of the essence. My other lower rating is on the catagory of activities. There seems to be a lack of communication as to the how, when and where. The activities are not varied so if you don’t play games, cards, or watch movies there is little for you to do. I have and continue to remain involved daily with the transition and do believe that though the level of care is not what I expected, we will get there. At no time have I felt that they are in danger.

January 28, 2019Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback; we appreciate your review. We always welcome ideas on how to improve the move-in process and will be passing along your suggestions to the supervisory committee who oversees the community. If you have any other suggestions please don't hesitate to reach out!
This facility represents a safe environment and that plays a big part in my friend trusting someone with her care. The staff is adequate and the facility itself is clean and picked up. The only reason why I did not give this community a five-star review is that I do not like relying on the staff members to let me in and out of the unit. It is a memory care facility and I am used to having the code so I can let myself in.

January 4, 2018Thank you for taking the time to share your review of our community; we appreciate your feedback!
This was a wonderful place for my mom, but with recent change in administration and nursibg I'm not too sure anymore. Everyone is frustrated, angry and upset about losing the biggest asset to this community. I personally brought mom here because of the wellness director and now I don't feel my mom is safe. Staff seem so uptight and no one knows anything anymore. Definitely looking at other places for next month. Very unfortunate situation, but when the people at the top cant see who/what the problem is then the difference clear.

On the tour I saw a screened porch on every floor and I was impressed with that. The community was really big and i felt he would get lost in the mix during a respite visit. We found a much smaller community to use.

This is a very nice community and we have been satisfied until today. It's a sad day at the Hamptons to loose one of the only managers who care! Bring our Nurse back. I personally am not comfortable leaving my loved one here. From an unhappy camper.

My brother-in-law is doing so well here in the memory care, not only has he made friends with the residents but the staff all love him. He gets to help the staff serve the other residents during their meal times which he loves doing. And I have noticed some great changes in him since he has moved here which is wonderful, he is eating so much better, he stays active, they monitor his meds, they stay in touch with us and we know that he is in a secure environment, safe and well cared for.
