I checked 14 other facilities in Massachusetts, this was the best one for the care my mother needed. Some others were fancier, but this is all dementia care which was important, that everyone was focused on Dementia Care. They also offer End of Life care so when that time comes, I don't have to keep moving her around .It is pricey unfortunately, so I had to work with the financial guys to make sure it would work.I see how they interact with her, which is great.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Atrium At Drum Hill and overall, it was a good experience for her. The staff is friendly and act professionally. The rooms are cleaned daily and bed is changed. The food is ample and the menu is limited because of resident's needs. Her clothes did get mixed up, however.

Thank you for sharing, and thank you for choosing The Atrium at Drum Hill!
Our experience with The Atrium At Drum Hill has been very positive so far. The visitors who have gone to see my dear friend have stated that the facility has been very clean and that the staff has been very friendly and helpful to everyone. My dear friend has told me time and time again how great the food is and that he knows how hard the people work. The Executive Director has been especially good with making my dear friend feel wanted and needed with having him work in the resident garden because he has always been an outdoor person. He feels very good when the Director asks him to help her with anything outside.

October 20, 2023Hello, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are so glad to hear about your experience with our community. Our dedicated associates take great pride in providing the very best experience possible and your compliments are a highlight for our team. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for choosing The Atrium at Drum Hill!
Our family had an in person tour with The Atrium and it was a 5 absolutely! We loved it. It's our first choice for Dad, we just aren't quite there yet. The fact that it specializes in memory care is important. Other combo assisted living facilities don't have the amount of coverage and schedule Atrium has
My family decided to make The Atrium at Drum Hill my mom's new home with the goal of her being more engaged with daily life. The change has been amazing. Although she has a quiet nature, she interacts with staff and residents throughout the day. She shows her sarcastic sense of wit but staff and residents alike tell me what a kind, caring woman she is. They have connected with the true nature of my wonderful mother and her family and friends are forever grateful.

June 8, 2023Hello Charles, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are so glad to hear about your experience with our community. Our dedicated associates take great pride in providing the very best experience possible and your compliments are a highlight for our team. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for choosing The Atrium At Drum Hill!
We chose The Atrium at Drum Hill over other places that we looked because of the in-house doctor they have, the cleanliness of the overall facility, and the fact that it is memory care only. I would tell others looking into The Atrium for their loved ones to make sure to get to know the director of nursing. Also, mark your loved ones' laundry so it does not get mixed up or lost. I would absolutely recommend this facility for memory care.

We toured The Atrium at Drum Hill, as well as several other places, and I thought they were all really good. They were very similar to one another. The people I met and interacted with were great. They were very helpful and very informative. And it was obvious that they care about what they do and the people that they serve.
They were wonderful and treated my father with genuine caring and respect. They worked together with hospice to keep him as comfortable as could be until he passed. Their kindness extended to my sister and myself as well; especially in his final days. We are grateful to them for the care they gave .

I toured this community and it was very nice. The staff was friendly. It was very clean.
My Mom lived at the Atrium at Drum Hill for more than five years. She passed away last October. She had Alzheimer’s and or vascular dementia that progressed from relatively mild to pretty debilitating during those five years. During all that time the staff at the Atrium treated her with respect and dignity for which she and I were always grateful. At the same time my Mom was at the Atrium I was also caring for my wife who has Alzheimer’s. Her condition has also progressed during those five years the Atrium was helping me with my Mom. I had my wife in a day care program and after I would drop her off, I’d visit with my Mom. I’d watch how the staff would care for the residents and how they handled difficult situations. I was grateful for the examples and tips I learned from them and I did my best to put in to practice at home with my Wife. I was quite lucky in that respect. While the illness progressed in my Mom, it also progressed in my wife.

We had an incredible experience. They gave my dad the best care he had received in a very long time. He was previously in two other facilities, and comparatively, the care at The Atrium was amazing. They communicated well with our family. They were always open to phone calls, emails, walk-in conversations. They literally had on open door policy. Their staff is just incredible, including the administrative staff.

After reviewing several care facilities, we decided on The Atrium and are very satisfied with that decision. It's a perfect location for us to visit easily. Their Community Relations person gave a great tour and answered all of our questions. Our loved one is resistant to help, but the staff are respectful to her and do what they can to help her with the transition. They prompt her to participate in activities, although they don't force her to go. They have a lot of good activities and a monthly calendar they post. She seems to like the food and is putting on some weight.

I would say to not go to this community. The business model for this type of care it seems like it is all the same. There is one person taking care of too many people that need care. There is no way that this one person would be able to care for all of the residents at the same time. It just did not seem like things were well organized. The staff that were there they were trying to do the best that they could in the situation that they were in. Any time that we needed something they provided it but when there is one person for so many people it is stressful to the worker also.

This community has been good to us and our loved one. I would recommend this community for memory care. This community is convenient easy and they have a friendly staff. My loved one is always doing an activity and is always doing the sing a long, they also have word games for the residents.
