It was close to my Mother's house and had the supports my father needed. Caring staff, but sometimes not enough attention especially with eating assistance. Food was fine. They are probably under staffed. Not that my father could participate, but there were no field trips etc.... Read more

I think it is way too expensive for the services that are provided. It was very hard to get in, you had to wait to be let in and there were no staff to be found. I think there should have been a code to get in rather than having to wait. He was supposed to get hospice when he got here but they were so busy that he did not get it until the day before he passed away. We were disappointed in the whole experience.

Response from Suite Living - Brooklyn Park
September 12, 2022I'm unsure of who this is, as all of our residents at Brooklyn Park on hospice have been appropriately referred to and admitted to hospice in accordance with the families chosen hospice company after assessing them appropriate for hospice on their timing. Suite Living is not able to escalate the hospice admission process, as we don't provide the services but instead we work them as a resource available when needed. Hospice has to first qualify the resident before they can admit to their services. We are happy to provide the entry code to enter and exit the community to all frequent visitors of our residents. We do still have Covid screening protocol in place, which is relayed to these frequent visitors. Because of this reason, we are still monitoring visitors as we do want to keep Covid exposure to a minimum to prevent spreading it to our residents.

A Place for Mom has scored Suite Living - Brooklyn Park 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
