Parkway Village

Our loved one is no longer at Parkway Village, but the improvement that was needed is employees who care! Unfortunately, I'm being told that is the problem at most if not all places. People don't want to work and therefore they can't find good people to hire! They tried.

What our family likes the most about the Parkway Village community is that it has a sense of family and the staff members are very helpful. Based on the experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

My experience of the care that my wife has received by Parkway Village and staff has been excellent and of the highest quality. It is obvious from the three months she has been a patient that everyone working there is thinking first of what is best for the resident and how they can make their life better and more meaningful. This starts with the administrator, [name removed]. She personally is concerned with each patient's individual problems and needs. She is hands on and her staff respects her and her leadership. She has certainly gone way beyond my expectations in helping my wife and although I am there almost daily, she knows what is going on in my wife's care and condition much better than I could. I trust her and know this will continue. I rate this facility a five in each area. Nobody is perfect, but it seems to me that everyone there tries for perfection and everything there shows it. I would recommend this facility to others.

I would give it all 5 stars but the activities. The problem with our situation is that my brother is 64 and all other residents are much older so he isn't interested in the activities geared to the older people. The main reason why Parkway works for us is because it is a locked facility.

I think Parkway Village is a nice place to live. If I have garbage, someone takes it out for me. If something's broken, they fix it. There are people in the office to ask questions and get advice from. I don't have to maintain a lawn anymore. Electricity is included in the monthly fee, and they also provide you with food (about 20 meals a month). However, the food has been pretty mediocre (for instance, lots of canned vegetables). Subsequently, I have been doing my own cooking, yet they won't give a discount for not using their food. Other than the food, I'm generally satisfied with living here.

I would tell others that this is a great way to meet other people. They provide a lot of activities to the residents to participate in. The food is pretty good especially after the pandemic lock downs.

We are very pleased with Parkway Village and it fits well with my loved ones needs. We really like the apartment idea, he's got a living room, bedroom, kitchen area, and a bathroom so it is not just one single room. There is an enormous amount of closet space and storage. The location is very convenient for our family, it is an easy drive to go visit. I would definitely recommend them to others looking as long as it fit your needs.

Dated, poorly maintained property although in a stellar location. Too bad the assets haven’t been well-managed over the years. Will hopefully sell to a good national company with expertise in senior care community development for an overhaul and rebranding.

I want to congratulate how beautiful the grounds are especially with all the loose trash up & down Chenal Parkway.

I love living in Parkway Village! I have my own newly renovated cottage with everything I need. I use my golf cart to go eat and visit friends. The staff is wonderful and easy to communicate with. The grounds are well kept and there is always "activity." I love the many activities provided by Parkway Village. I'm so glad my children helped me make this decision.

We moved in to the independent living villas (2 Br 2bh 2 car garage) less than 6 months ago and we have been very pleased. The neighbors are the best. The shady streets and lakeside trails are ideal for walking and walking your dog. The food is very good and the (plan) very flexible. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym complex is unique and no other place has this in the area. (Water volleyball on TT&S is exciting, fun and great exercise): Our villa has a bright sunny room up front and another sunny office/den off the patio. The peace of mind knowing that everything is taken care of is priceless. My overhead fan died yesterday and today they came and installed a new one. No charge. So centrally located to everything in Little Rock is so nice. 24 hr security. FUN,FRIENDLY, SUNNY & SECURE.

We liked everything about this facility. Golf carts are allowed so that's a definite advantage for mom. Also a covered carport so thats great as well.

Nice place and [Removed] was helpful. I found meal options and times limited in comparison to other communities, and wish there was 24 hour nursing staff, or at least CPA. The people there seem happy but I am not sure this is the place for my mom.

My parents are doing very well since their move into Parkway Village. Things having been going very well they are living in and independent living home. It's an adjustment from being in a home like they were before, to a smaller space. What really made them chose this community over the others that we toured was that they wanted a larger independent living home and they wanted to be able to have green space around them rather than just cement, while also being accessible for someone who uses a walker.

When I toured the Parkway Village, I was looking for a place that would eventually take medicare. Everyone in the community was very nice, but the location was not very convenient for me. Other than that, it was a very nice place.

The community was very nice but out of my budget. The staff was all welcoming and friendly. The place was very clean and well maintained. I was very happy with the tour, the price was just not what we could afford at the moment.
