Overall experience is great, considering the circumstances. They do a good job with cleanliness. Almost all the staff is very kind and helpful. Most know her name on sight. I won't ruin the grade on a couple of them. They call with anything going on and pills seem to be on time. Mom is not to satisfied with half of the meals, but she isn't starving. There are plenty of religious visitors, but usually only 1 activity per day, mostly games. Value for cost I feel is good, with my limited knowledge of other facilities prices. Community is fine. They need to improve on just having more staff and more experienced CNA' s that can work well with Alzheimer's residents. We gave the care services a 4, but sometimes it can also be a 3. We should have spent more time, but didn't have it then, doing our research on places. We were in a time constraint at the time, and Paramount was really talked up as being the best place for our parents. Sometimes it is ok, sometimes not so much. Short staffed at times, so care is kind of lacking. But overall, it's been ok.

The housekeeping department was excellent. Management of department was fantastic. However, they are always short of staff, especially the nursing dept. There are not healthy menus, not much alternative choices. Needed to supplement my own food because of small portions and unsavory food. Activities are limited choices and nothing after 5pm. A lot of events canceled due to lack of participation. Holidays and special events always well done. I understand it was the better value compared to the competition. But I feel the pricing structure was a bit unfair. Residents needing more care than others were paying the same amount the independent living residents paid. I found it necessary to leave after 1 year. I was OK being there, except for the expense. After my therapy was complete, I chose to find a 55 and over apt for 1/3 the cost Please note, even though Powerback therapy was a separate department from Paramount, they were incredibly helpful. I could not have made the move without their excellent and professional care. A 10 star Rating to them.

My family toured Paramount after visiting several other senior apartments in the area. We were looking for a place for our elderly friend. Upon entering Paramount the first thing we noticed was how clean the building was and it smelled nice. Our tour was outstanding. [name removed], in the marketing department, was simply pleasant. She greeted us with a warm smile and bright eyes. She took her time with each of us and answered all our questions. Everyone made us feel very welcome, and the seniors seemed to be very happy. Everyone was very clean and dressed well. We chose Paramount for her. Elaine and the staff went over and beyond. Thank you Paramount.

Staff is very friendly and responsive to family involvement. Answering questions and advancing continuum of care. Facility is clean and active ( as much as the residents want to be). Communication is very good with loved ones updates and collaboration between the Paramount, the rehab facility, and the hospital is very helpful. We are grateful for her placement.

They smiled in my face and lied to my face. My wishes were written down, but were NOT communicated to other staff. They were way under staffed. Friendliness, I would rate a 1 because it was fake. The director knew what they had going on but failed to convey the truth. If I could give a zero for quality of care, I would. As it is, I hate giving them a 1, but that is the lowest I can go. As far as food goes, I can't answer that because I didn't taste it. What activities? Save your money because the value sucked. Unless they've changed, steer people away from that place.

Everything and everyone has exceeded my expectations. My sister has been happy with the food. Every single person I have worked with has been extremely friendly and helpful. They seem to really genuinely care about their patients and their well-being. I particularly like that they very actively post and share activities on social media so you can follow along with what is happening in real time.

I appreciate all the staff being kind and patient. Sometimes its hard to get a hold of some of the faculty, as they are busy. However, they have come through with all of our requests and answered our questions. Please get to know the regular help, and make your presence felt. If they don't know your concerns they cant fix them. Keep in mind there are many residents per employee. Keep on top of medical questions and the correct processes. They have helped me tremendously, figure out all the processes, for any medical needs that have arisen. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] have been extremely helpful, to be specific.

I am currently a resident at Paramount Senior Living at Fredericksburg. Overall, for the value this facility is the best one locally. The staff is sparse, but the staff that they do have here are doing an excellent job with the shortage. The housekeeping is excellent. The food is the biggest complaint. The quality isn't great and there are very little fresh fruits and vegetables offered. I will say though, most of the desserts are very good. It would be nice to have a few more off site activities and more in house activities after dinner.

It's fairly clean. The manager did not disclose some information. I would not recommend to anyone. There was lack of communication, which was the biggest problem. They need to improve on their communcation, and the manager needs to develop a better attitude.

Our family had an in person tour and it was alright, we wanted to take pictures of the community for reference and we were not allowed to so we just did no get the best feeling.
Our experience with Paramount Senior Living has been really good so far, the director [name removed] has really helped us with the financial side of things when it comes to insurance. The nurses just pamper our loved one, they just love him and are always hugging on him and engaging him in conversation. We do see a lot of activities all the time which is great. Their meals could definitely use some improvement though. Our loved one is not a fan at all and sometimes the meals are served cold. They do have a separate menu the residents can order off of, but you have to order in advance and with our loved one having some memory loss maybe the staff could assist and remind him to check out that menu early in the week.

I had really good, in depth conversation with the director of Paramount of some improvements that could be made and he totally agreed. For us, we felt the facility was too small and institutional feeling. Most of the rooms offered in memory care are shared. There was really no color on the walls or room for residents to move around.
Our family had an in person tour and the director was very nice and honest with us. However for our loved one it just was not the right vibe, it was a very busy atmosphere and very large. We wanted something a little smaller.
Our family had an in person tour and the sales team we met with were very nice, we saw a lot of rooms and got a lot of information but we did not really like the community itself. It seemed more institutional and like a nursing home.
I'd recommend it to other families. It's a small and friendly community. It's clean overall. When one of the apartments had roaches, they did take care of it when it was addressed with them. I wouldn't consider that an issue. They provide excellent care services. My loved one wishes they offered a selection of food. The plate is just served, as is. And it's a small plate with small servings. But most of the time it tastes okay. They do have quite a few activities. I think for all of these types of facilities that the cost is high, but Paramount is one of the less expensive places.

We toured with Paramount and everything was great. I just found a facility I was more comfortable with, but this was our second choice.
This facility was ok a bit worn due to age. The physical therapy room was just that a regular room with some equipment. The biggest surprise was the $3,000 deposit where other better places were $500.

With Covid restrictions easing up, we were able to have an on-site tour. I thought the building looked nice and was clean, but it just didn’t have the feeling of warmth and concern for the patients that we were looking for. It felt more institutional. Also, the location was not as nice. They were situated right behind a shopping center.
