There are a few staff members that I can tell love their job. They bring a pleasurable aura to the place. The cook is so personable. The office manager truly appreciates feedback. They live my mom's singing and are very aware oh my mom's current health status. The biggest area of improvement would be activities and getting outside more.

It's been good. They have lost some good staff but they have hired other good staff. Again not perfect but my mom is very happy. They take care of her not like me, but good enough. What stood out for me was just the affordability and the director was super helpful even prior to me being interested in paradise. He was very transparent and answered a lot of my questions. Not perfect but mom is happy and taken care of.

Generally friendly staff. Some issues with getting medications dispensed correctly. They are working to fix the issue. My mom's single room is nice, good light, and is a good amount of space. Mom says food is "ok". Very few folks mom can hold a conversation with, appears to be a lot of memory care. Facility size is medium based on my tour experiences. Recommend checking in with family member and facility staff regularly to ensure meds are correct, showers are given, room cleaned, etc.

Staff is very friendly, they have a tech that comes by and mops so things are clean. They only communicate with family if there is a problem, which is okay with me. The move in process was very smooth. I can't really comment on the meals, as my Dad is a picky eater. I would recommend Paradise to others. They have good security for elderly with Alzheimer's.

I think the head nurse, GM and building mgr are great. The price was a driver as was the candor of the exec director. He admited to the things they were still working on which included staff. His honesty was refreshing.

My loved one was a resident at Paradise Assisted Living and overall the experience was okay. There were minimal activities at this facility and many more were promised than those that actually took place. They also raised the rent significantly within less than a year of my loved one living here. Overall, I would recommend this facility for people who are on a major fixed income.

Based on the experience we have had so far with Paradise Assisted Living, we think they could improve on the overall family communication, nurse availability/responsiveness. However I do like the value here.

It's not perfect. It's a little not clean - laundry seems to be not always done. But 75% of the time my mom is engaged in activities when I visit (2 times per week differing day and times) and my mom seems really happy at Paradise. That kind of overrides all the other stuff. To know she is safe, she has friends, and she is happy.

I would recommend you check out the community and see if it would be a good fit for your loved one. Overall, I am happy with our experience here. The staff are helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. There are three meals a day served to the residents. The activities are just starting up as they have a new Activities Director.

When we came for our tour everyone was just sitting around in the hallways and not doing much. The furniture was extremely old and it was not updated at all. It was also not as clean as I would have liked to have seen it. I could not recommend them based on what I saw.
I would say to go to this community and see for yourself if this community meets your needs. The workers have been for the most part very communicative with minor exceptions.

The activities really need a huge improvement, one of the reason we chose this community was because of the activities. However they have gone through some internal changes in management and now the activities are non existent and our loved one is very social.

For the price it is a good place. The staff is always willing to answer questions or going to find the answer for the families. The room is sparse and furniture was provided. The food is decent. The dining room is somewhat small.

We chose this community because of the location and the pricing was affordable. It was also easy to get into. The room sizes were very nice, my mother had a private room. I would recommend Paradise Assisted Living to a friend or family member.

My wife was in this community. The staff were attentive and trying to be helpful in every way to help her with her needs. The community was not expensive for the care that was given. The community was not as clean and it does need some improvements. We would recommend this community for the lowert cost with nice care. The menu seemed to be appealing.

A Place for Mom has scored Paradise Assisted Living 8.1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
