I literally cannot ask for a better experience, all things considered...the staff was insightful, caring, and kept me in the loop. For me, it's the fact that I knew she was safe. She had taken to wandering the neighborhood at all hours of the night & to know that that wasn't going was a big deal for me.... Read more
From cozy lounges and a traditional dining room to beautiful walking paths and a lush courtyard, Marshall Pines was thoughtfully designed to offer residents a comforting environment for retirement. The welcoming atmosphere is ideal for attentive assisted living and memory care services. The goal of staff is to honor choice and support independence while offering the right level of care to help residents lead quality lives.
Located close to Evans Towne Center Park, residents have access to a variety of activities. Enjoy some fresh air, attend live performances, dine in surrounding restaurants, and even get medical care. Although the area offers lots of entertainment, residents don’t have to leave to have some fun. The community itself offers a diverse calendar filled with activities, a putting green, salon, arts and crafts center, and more!
Before all the fun, the community prioritizes resident health and safety. The community offers an ionized air filtration system to regulate clean air, mindful meals that foster brain health, a sensory spa that combats dementia-related side effects, and a virtual reality bucket list program that enables residents to go on journeys without leaving. Plus, the community’s Montessori-based memory care program honors residents’ memories while encouraging them to have new...

This was a good community. We wanted a day program for our loved one and they didn't feature one.
I liked Marshall Pines. I thought the room was was nice. They were at the top of our list for consideration. But our loved one's condition took a turn for the worse at that time.
They tell you one thing when you come in for a visit. But once you move in, you see it's a whole different story. The nursing staff is great, but they have no physical therapy or any type of therapy for the residents. Nor do they have anything to stimulate the residents' minds at all. And it's causing the residents to get depressed. The sad part is - this is supposed to be memory care center. What I see here is something I would expect from a nursing home.

I moved my mom here after we had issues at another facility. Because of what happened in the past I was nervous. They have been so wonderful to my mom. They take such good care of her and love on her. This is the best place for my mom.

I've never seen such dedicated people as the ones that work here. It's a real pleasure to associate with the staff every time I go there. When a patient needs something, the staff is right there taking care of them. I could not have found a better place for my mother-in-law.

I have worked in this field my entire career. Of all the jobs and facilities I have worked, this facility is the most loving, genuinely caring staff I have ever worked with. The staff is very dedicated with a great family atmosphere. I love it!!

I currently have three family members living at Marshall Pines. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the care and attention that they receive. Marshall Pines is not a cookie-cutter memory care residence. The staff, and especially director Kellie [name removed], go above and beyond to provide the appropriate environment and interactions to meet the needs and challenges of the residents. Many thanks!

From the time I walk through the doors, I feel comfortable and at ease. It is obvious that the staff truly cares about their residents. Everyone is very involved with the residents and the residents seem very happy. The Executive Director and the Nurse are always available and visible when I go visit. Activities are always going on and the community is clean with no odors. I would highly recommend Marshall Pines! It is by far the best that memory care has to offer!

The community is not very diverse, I would have liked to see more diversity with the residence. Communication was ok with the community. i would recommend this community if they were able to have a more diverse population.

Was not impressed with this facility! Residents didn’t seem to be involved in anything!

If I could, I would give Marshall Pines a crown of stars. My mother was a resident at MP, she was well taken care and loved and that love extended to her family as well. I felt that this was the right place for my mother on my initial visit. The Administrator was warm and welcoming and that same spirit was with the staff as well. Alzheimer is a dreaded disease which encompasses more issues than just memory lost. MP staff handled those issues as well and educated me as to how handle things also. I always had a peace of mind with my mother being there and she was very content being there. Every time I think about MP my appreciation continues to grow. Thank you Marshall Pines

This is a great community, and my mother is doing very well since her move here. I do feel comfortable with her move to this facility. She is in great hands, they have an excellent staff. They are providing her with great kind, and has been friendly whenever we visit. They do a good job with the cleanliness around the community. Her room, and the facility are well-kept when. They provide nice meals, and offer activities through out the day for the residents. I'am satisfied with this community, and I would recommend it.

A Place for Mom has scored Marshall Pines Transitional Assisted Living and Memory Care 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
