I arrived here [date removed]. So the most part my experience has been outstanding. This place is beautiful and especially caring and efficient. All the help has been top rated. Very receptive to my needs. If I had any concerns, the director listens attentively and pushed to make the situation much better! Once I get better I want to volunteer here.

Superlative introduction by director of assisted living admissions, [name removed], to assisted living and the range of services available in contemporary assisted living and nursing home settings, and specifically, what is available at Encore. There is a dizzying array of attractive AL services in our area, so it is hard to choose one facility. We found Encore most inclusive of our particular needs related to proximity to family, but also meets our wishes for mixing a functionally diverse population (independent thru severely demented), trained staff with ability to advance resident services on site and staff also dedicated to advancing their understanding of elderly needs and therapies, stimulating and comforting environment, and suggestion of continuity of staffing—this last quality is one we will need to test out during our mother’s time there, but appears to be true as described. Price is not attractive but Encore will work with family on finding feasibility for admission and long-term needs.

My mother was a resident of Encore in July after suffering a stroke.Visually the facility is wonderful,the care or lack of care she received was absolutely HORRIBLE!!They basically wrote her off the day she arrived,she was incapacitated and needed a great deal of care.My family was there every day,on a daily basis I had to ask if she would get therapy,had she been bathed,basic needs were not being met. [name removed] the head nurse was so nasty any time we would approach him it was as if he was being bothered.Not once in the 30 days she was there did she get a shower,she was to be rotated every few hours,that wasn’t being done,we had to practically beg to have her changed,I don’t think their staff had the proper training nor did the majority of them care enough.I walked in one day to find that whoever turned on her feeding didn’t connect it so she was covered in formula,no idea for how long.Her arm began to curl because they weren’t working with her as they should.When we asked to see notes on what was being done with her it was like pulling teeth,we went through every chain of command and our concerns were never addressed.The social worker never reached out to us when my mom arrived after several days we had to reach out to her only for her to brush us off.They were not administering medication properly,she was in a great deal of pain and refused to examine her,[name removed]laughed it off,after I pushed and asked the Nurse practioner to examine her she had to be rushed to the ER.,.The Adminstrator was very rude and combative when we tried to bring our concerns to him I couldn’t believe it!I filed a complaint with their compliance division and they never followed up with us.At the hospital it was discovered that her feeding tube was completely clogged up,she was severely dehydrated,she was in bad shape.They contributed to my mother’s demise.She is now deceased.There are so many other incidents but too much to get into.I would say stay as FAR away from this place as possible!!

[Name removed] was a fabulous nuse! He is very competent and caring to his patients. From my perspective, he went "above and beyond" to ensure the patients and needs! He respected patient wishes to make the stay like "home" for bed and toilet time with much respect.

[Name removed] was a great GNA! She is very caring and treats patients in a very respectful and caring manor. She would go above and beyond to ensure patients needs are met timely and safely. We were grateful for her extra efforts and availability.

The care my grandmother received was outstanding. You become attached to the caregivers there and feel comfortable that your loved one is getting the care you would be given if they were home.

Everyone is nice and treats you with respect. Many activities to keep you entertained. I have enjoyed my time here.

Took a tour so that when the time comes for mom or dad we could be prepared. The community smelled so good. Clean! The decor was fantastic. Very inviting and home feeling.

Excellent services

My grandmother was in the rehab here at Encore and she progressed and healed quickly enough so she transferred to their Assisted Living. Therapy, nursing, and staff were excellent. I would recommend this facility to everyone.

Encore was a true blessing to my father and our family. The admissions team in particular really went above and beyond in helping place our father in a safe and caring environment.

The manager and staff are wonderful. There are many activities that we enjoy.

I've toured this facility and it was one of the best and well maintained buildings I have ever seen. The staff is extremely friendly. I would absolutely recommend this home!

Beautiful building! We all really enjoy spending time in the courtyard. The staff is wonderful, always so helpful and friendly.

Even before my tour began, while waiting in the lobby, I was immediately aware of how inviting, relaxing and yet pleasantly lively the atmosphere, the decor, the sounds (music via intercom, people chatting, etc.) and even the smells of lunch were, This feeling followed us on the tour. I am here to find a "retirement home" for my father from out-of-state (6 hours by car) and I need to feel this is right for him - a big responsibility. The reception, the staff, the tour, all facilities, the apartments, even meals and activities - it is right. It will be a perfect safe, lovely, medically accomplished home-away-from home for my beloved father.

Everything is excellent. I have no complaints of any kind. The staff is excellent. The entire facility is extremely clean. The food is above average. A lot of activities are available on all levels. The memory staff is extremely professional and kind,

I couldn't ask for better care and professionalism from all members of the staff.
