I would rate them all 5. It is a great community. Best decision we've made! Food is great. Not institutional at all. They really take good care of the property. Not like a "old folks home" at all. I'm only familiar with Moms apartment but it's good sized, not cramped. As with any place you can be as involved as you want. Lots of fun things to do.... Read more

Family has the freedom to join the activities, volunteer at the community, hangout with all the residents spontaneously. I would recommend the community. It is a private pay. One stop shop that makes it easy to transition too. The leadership team coordinates the onsite medical care; pharmacy; OTPT with insurance so you don't have too. They care for their residents and address their individual needs. Inspira provides group sessions for the families to help with the transitions. What makes. Inspira unique is the legato wing assisted living. This is geared towards the residents who are in between memory care and independent living. The residents have the freedom as if independent living but have guardrails from assisted living based on his/her needs.

We moved mom out of there in March. They advertise their AL program for those with dementia. Yet they over medicated, didn't know how to handle common behavioral issues, no stop UTI's, didn't recognize when she needed urgent care etc. We felt very misled. They said with their program, mom would do well in AL and not need Memory Care if she didn't wander. As soon as she had behavioral problems they didn't want to deal with and short staffed, said she needed Memory Care. And of course they want double the $ for Memory Care. Felt like classic bait and switch.

Very positive experience with one exception, they cannot keep staffed with as many people as they need.

June 13, 2024Hello Kristie! Thank you so much for the 5-star review. Please let us know if we can offer any further assistance! - Inspira Gateway by Cogir
Initially, I contacted A Place for Mom to help me search out a few Memory Care facilities in a specific city. But they were SO much more! Their staff person quickly gave me a list of 5 facilities. It listed many more details than what I could have found with an internet search. From that list of 5, I visited 2 of them and decided on 1- within just a few weeks of my initial inquiry. Then, we moved Mom just a couple of weeks later. We felt fortunate to find a new facility where Memory Care apartments had an option of a 1-bedroom or a Studio. They also "specialize" in caring for people with Dementia. We experienced some challenges with moving Mom, and the APFM staff person offered up some suggestions and resources. It worked well. Thank you.

They offered the service between assisted living and memory care. It's nice, not the most beautiful resort but quite nice, better than a lot of places and a great fit for my brother.

We needed a place for mom quickly and with a limited budget. A place for mom helped us find Inspiria. We toured the facility met the staff enjoyed a complementary meal and joined a few activities. We talked to the current residents and family members to get their perspective. We were allowed to come back anytime. No sales pressure. The staff was able to accommodate our needs in 48 hours. Everyone made the transition so easy on a short notice. We are free to visit anytime our schedule permits. Participate in the activities with the residents. We can volunteer at the community. We are able to bring our chihuahua to visit grandma. It’s a small and comfortable place that is family driven. Mom loves it and loves the staff. The staff helps you every step of the way at your pace. Your family at Inspira.

January 22, 2024Hello! We're so glad we could help you and your mom so quickly. We know this transition is difficult and we're so glad we were able to make it an easier experience for you, your mom, and your family. The best part of this is hearing that your mom feels right at home. That warms our hearts. And you're right - family is everything to us at Inspira Gateway. Thank you so much for your review and sharing your experience. If there is anything more we can do, please let us know! - Inspira Gateway
Our family had an in person tour with Inspira Gateway and the facility was beautiful but the person who gave us the tour didn't seem very knowledgeable on their facility. They lacked a variety of activities and felt more like an extended stay hotel than a community. It may have been because it was so new they just hadn't gotten their feet on the ground but it was an immediate "no" as soon as we walked out of that tour.
We have not had any issues. The staff is wonderful - all of them - from the front desk, to the caregivers, to sales, to the maintenance team. That's a huge reason why it's a good place. The meals are outstanding. They are fresh made and home cooked, even their salad dressing. They offer wonderful activities. The facility has new décor and beautiful finishes. It's very close to where we live and to the hospital. There is Memory Care right there in the same building if needed later on. All Assisted Living is pricey, but Inspira Gateway is just a lovely, outstanding place. And I highly recommend it.

The staff keep in constant contact with the family about how our loved one is doing. They know the residents by name. The meals are great and the cooking is just right with good seasoning, but not too much. They have good choices for meals! Some of the activities include crafts, movement, and more for the residents to participate in. The staff are good at engaging with the residents.

We chose Inspira Gateway for a couple of different reasons. They had additional features in the room such as full kitchen, balcony, and motion sensors in the bathroom, washer and dryer in the units etc. The staff will also come and do your loved ones laundry in their room which is nice. It is also a little bit of a smaller facility so there are fewer residents which I liked. It was less expensive than many of the others that I visited that did not have those features. The only caveat with the food that has been a challenge is that there are set times for the meals. the kitchen is not open 24/7, but the meals themselves are wonderful. I would absolutely recommend Inspira to other families.

A Place for Mom has scored Inspira Gateway by Cogir 9.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
