We took a tour and the staff greeted us at the door and were very friendly. We really like that this building is one story and easy to get around. The building is very clean and everyone living there seems very happy. We felt that all of our questions were answered on the tour. We joined them for lunch and the food was great. We liked that you have different choices.

This is a lovely community in the heart of central phoenix, close to shopping, entertainment and doctors. The community is charming and inviting, with welcoming staff. Madison Meadows has a very involved chef who prepares three meals a day that are served in the dining room. This community is very unique as it is one single level, allowing residents to easily take small dogs out for a walk or get themselves to programs without worrying about using stairs or an elevator, great for seniors. Over all this is wonderful community to call home.

As one walks through the front door one gets a nice first impression. You get a variety of meals especially at lunch and dinner. Breakfast is typical with a choice of eggs( except poached). Bacon, or ham. Omelets. Nice large pool that hardly anyone uses. Overall a nice place.

My loved one is currently a resident at Holiday Madison Meadows and the experience has been great so far. The food is great and communication so far seems to be good with the staff. The friendliness and activities are great, too. The housekeeping is great. They come in and clean my loved one's apartment once a week and change the sheets. This facility is very clean. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

She says the food is good and she likes that they make an effort to decorate for the holidays and keep the main areas clean. My mother-in-law has said there isn't nearly enough staff. She can keep her place clean but thinks others are suffering. They have to wait a long time for food due to lack of staff again. The people who are left are working so hard to take care of the residents but I guess everyone says it's gone downhill significantly.

January 25, 2023Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We value having your mother-in-law in our community and are glad to hear she’s enjoying the food. I am sorry that she has been disappointed with her dining and housekeeping experience. I’ve shared your comments with our General Manager and Regional Vice President so they can look into this situation. If you have any further concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Service team at CustomerService@AtriaSeniorLiving.com.
Saving money so I can get out, friendly staff but watching TNF and decided to go out for 1 last smoke none of the doors to access anywhere on the property were accessible with out a key. Nice staff but high turnover, profit driven, Quality of food is hit or miss. Should have kept looking, residents have a lot of mental issues sad to see. they do a good job marketing the place but don't get fooled!

The clients were not engaged or even happy looking. And there was a heavy disinfectant smell that indicated to me there was too much clean up going on.

I actually have told people that this is the best place they could move into. It's fun, it's clean, the staff are phenomenal and the food is actually really good.

They have had a lot of staff quit recently. There is a lot they promised that is not being delivered due to the staff not being there. They don't have a driver for transportation, they don't have a chef, and the housekeeping isn't getting done. The community doesn't have my loved one in the system for us to make payments online. The staff they have are awesome, they are just overwhelmed. This hasn't been what we had expected for our loved one, or been promised. The meals have consisted of pizza, hot dog, ravioli, and other items. The meals aren't balanced. The food isn't the best due to the chef not being in the community.

August 10, 2022Michael, Thank you for bringing your family member’s experience to our attention. If you would like to personally talk with us about your experience, please email us at Resident.Relations@HolidaySeniorLiving.com.?
Madison Meadows is a very clean community. [name removed} and [name removed] are both very nice and wonderful. one thing I noticed is when the residents check in on their first day, they hand you your keys and you're pretty much on your own. you have to come back down and ask for an emergency call device, sheets, towels, etc. we also found that there was no toilet paper or trash bags in the room and we weren't aware that those things aren't provided by the community. I do think they could benefit from hiring an ambassador to make the residents feel comfortable since they are in a strange and unfamiliar environment. this could also help make the move in process an easier transition. the bus was out of commission for several weeks and during that time they should have rented a shuttle or hired a service so that the residents could still go shopping for their personal items. the only thing I've heard about the meals from my loved one is that they are served a lot of rice. that rice could be substituted out for something different maybe? the activities are very minimal and do lack in variety. they could take them for a scenic route or something, but for now they just take the residents to run errands and grab items from stores about three days a week. the housekeepers do a very good job and are nice people. out of all of the places we looked at, Madison Meadows was the least expensive. what drove our decision to choose this community was the price and the fact that everything is kept at a singular level.

The staff was very professional, helpful and accommodating during the tour and the move in process. The good thing is this is a smaller community. I'm very happy with our experience here. They have activities; however, they are limited due to the pandemic currently. My loved one is happy they are here.

There is nothing wrong with this community at all. They are the best. They worked with my loved one and compromised to make things work out the best. They even have there own life alert that they give to the patients they feel need it . They also have housekeeping that comes in every now and then to clean the bathroom and floor for the residents. Everyone was so friendly. The only thing we struggled with was getting someones attention at the front desk. There was not always someone there. Two to three days a week the van takes the residents to places that they need to go and then picks them up.

I liked this community. This was a great tour!
Private bedroom and bath activities daily chef on duty 7 days a wk. Bus to medical appointments and shopping trips once a wk.
I like our team
The residents who live here are great. But the experience with the administrative staff was not good at all. They are not good at making decisions and always have to escalate it to the upper management. The food is always served cold. They take a lot of people that need a lot more care so it does not feel like independent living. Based off my experience, I would not recommend them.
