I will say to anyone who reads this, do not take a person that you love to this overpriced hell hole. The level of care is not what you will be sold at sales meeting with [name removed]. [name removed] was continually a wonderful easy ear but the most of the care staff was not worthy of my parents. [name removed] should be removed from her job as head nurse. Forget about wound care if needed and God forbid you are not mobile. Waiting time to be helped to bathroom or changed is inexcusable. They would send one person in room for a two person assist and tell my mom they could not help her until someone else came. My mother had severe bedsores and they suggested we get outside help while paying $8200 a month. [name removed] is the most wonderful person in building! [name removed] in the dining room was also a caring person. Once Covid hit this business starting serving sea rations, and the dining staff would not offer an entire menu prior to Covid. Food was awful!

My mother moved to a 2 bedroom independent living apartment in 2010. She adjusted to the downsizing from her house and yard and had a beautiful view of the pool and participated in several activities. The food is just OK - the biggest problem is they change chefs every 6 months or so. When La Siena was sold to a large national chain you could really note the difference - food quality, pricing, consistency of services, and management. They had a wonderful activities director for the first few years and after she left, they didn't make much effort to replace her and most activities stopped or were very limited. In early 2015, we needed to transfer her to one of the small # of assisted living units. After a 6 month wait we finally had a move in date. That's when the wheels fell off the bus. The entire transfer was chaotic and disorganized, and although she was notified 30 days prior to the move-in date by management, the staff acted as though they had just learned of her move and none of the paperwork for meds and care had been completed. After a few weeks in assisted living we knew it just wasn't going to work out. The staff and management were not trained to care for the demands of Alzheimer patients - they let her stay up well after midnight, insisted she wake up or 7am or tried to wake her up and never came back, she missed meals consistently, dirty clothes and depends piled up in closet, and her "medication Management" was neglected. We posted notes, checklists, and had numerous meetings with staff and management. They stated all of our claims were unfounded until we told them we had a "granny cam" in her apartment and were keeping logs regarding her scheduled care and routine and visited 2-3 times per week. One of the worst infractions was that we had instructed (in writing) dining staff not to serve her alcohol and had purchased non-alcoholic beverages to serve her at dinner. They ignored our instructions and Mom would go down in the afternoon and start drinking. One evening she got very drunk and her friends escorted her to her room and she fell and an ambulance was called. We moved her out after 30 days and we were sure they were happy to see "us" go. I'm giving the facility a "Fair" rating as things were good in independent living but terrible in assisted living. Shop around if you need qualified quality assisted living care for your family member or loved one.

This is a comfortable facility originally designed as a resort. It could use more safety equipment for elderly and handicapped residents. The staff is competent and friendly. The food is very good.

We are pretty happy with them. The only thing is that the food could be a little better, but the Thanksgiving buffet they put out was great. The staff is friendly, and they are on top of things, and really good with the medication management. It's clean, and they come in once a week to vacuum and dust and take care of the place. It really is working out really well.

We looked at this place and it was really nice and pretty. The rooms were nice and everything was clean. Of course, you can't really tell how a place really is unless you stay there but it seemed nice. The guy that showed up around was great and extremely knowledgeable.

Wow!! was my first thought when I walked into this property! It is so beautiful. John, was the marketing specialist that I worked with in arranging for my parents to move from out of state to AZ and into La Siena. I can't say enough positive things about John, he was so helpful and is such a fun person to work with! LaSiena provides so many services and special activities and events for their residents. The staff and everyone genuinely care about each and every resident. Mom and Dad adjusted well and really enjoy living at La Siena.

We love it. My in-laws live there. The meals are prepared and the food is good and they have a little bus that takes them around. They have little outings, card playing, the movie theater - they love going to the movies and having their popcorn there. They've got a swim program going on and an exercise room. There's a lot going on! The apartments are just beautiful with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. They just feel right at home there. If you need care, you don't need to move. They'll come right to your apartment and you pay accordingly. It's a great place!

They are adjusting very well. The only complain negative they have told us about is that the mail box is too long sometimes the mail gets too far back to reach. Other then that they really like it here. My sister visits them often and she is also happy with the situation so we feel we made the right choice after looking at about 35 communities. They are happy with the food and the community. They have lots of activities and the transport van takes them to places like the mall and things like that.

Large rooms.....she liked this place before when it was only independent living. Integrate assisted and independent living. No skilled nursing. Up to Level 2 care
