Freedom Square of Seminole, a CCRC

I will give Freedom Square a 5 for every category. Meals and dining deserve a 6 if you can score that high. We could not be more pleased.

Freedom Square is close by, walking distance are Dr's, Dentists, eye and ear Drs and many stores ie grocery, clothing, shoes etc. also eating places, libraries, theaters etc. if you need special rides, they are there free of charge from mgr. Also, this place has pool, gym, movie theater to name a few extras. Also, staff here is polite, helpful etc.

The staff is very helpful and kind. My mom is building a great group of friends and enjoying the community and a ton of great entertainment and activities. It's location is excellent being so close to all of the shops, movie theater, and restaurants nearby as well. The apartments were the most spacious and well laid out of the properties we toured. Very clean and nicely updated as well.

We moved our mother into Independent Living then unfortunately an injury led her to the Freedom Square Rehab, the ALF, and a few horrific nights in the nursing home when returning from a hospital stay. When you pay to "join" the CCRC, it really does nothing except lower your payment a small fraction if you need advanced care. I needed to help my mother regularly at the ALF because the staff did not properly care for her. A few staff members were kind, most were not. When my mother's hip dislocated, the nurse told her to "stop whining." There is no advantage to the CCRC and we lost over [price removed] when I moved my mom out of a place that was not properly staffed and lacking in quality care...a high cost for an agonizing experience and grateful we no longer have any association with Freedom Square.

The nursing staff needs to be more hands on with the residents. They need to have more activities provided. They have bingo every day, but no other activities maybe once or twice a week they have someone entertain. They really lack a lot of supervision and entertainment. Overall I would recommend Freedom Square.

We picked for all of the reasons above. Particularly friendliness of the staff. Located near the beaches... My Mom was familiar with the community and had visited friends there in the past.

We moved my loved one to Freedom Square of Seminole from a previous facility. This facility was a huge relief. They are far superior in pretty much every aspect. I would recommend this facility to others.

[name removed] , [name removed], and Sue[name removed]are fantastic The only thing that caught me by surprise is when I asked about moving my dad into long term care, they didn't have any beds. But I probably should have known that was a possibility. Otherwise, I felt my dad received great care

I have lived here 4 years and am so pleased I made the decision to move here. Wonderful staff and lot's of friendly neighbors.

My husband and I moved to Freedom Square about 5 years ago at ages 74 and 75. We were so glad we moved here when we were still able to participate on the activities. The community is very friendly and welcoming as well is being a beautiful place to live.

My wife and I are pleased that we moved to Freedom Square where we are enjoying the many available campus activities. Our neighbors all seem to agree.

From the interview process to 4 months of residency, everything has exceeded our expectations. Staff has helped, and doctors, after moving her 1,000 miles. We looked at many Assisted Living facilities. Freedom Square heads above.

My mother was a resident at Freedom Square Assisted Living for two years. She was always treated compassionately and as if her life had value and worth. She was well cared for.

This is my fathers 3rd retirement home. Freedom Square has a personal touch that I haven't seen before. The food is delicious. The staff is very attentive.

My aunt has been a resident of Freedom Square for 2 years and the care is second to none! The nurses are friendly and extremely helpful! [name removed] is constantly roaming making sure everyone is very welcome.

Our parents have been residents at The Inn at Freedom Square for almost 2 years. They adjusted to assisted living from day one. Always saying "we love it here, everyone is so nice." We can not say enough about how well we feel that our parents are in the best of hands.

The folks at Freedom Square made us feel very comfortable from the first time we met them. They continue to care for my Mom. (Almost two months now in Assisted Living) I live out of state and they have reached out to me when needed and have given her care that lets me relax a bit knowing that she is safe! Our time line from deciding that A.L. was necessary was short. They had us approved and moved in within 5 days! We were fortunate that they had an open apartment that was perfect for Mom. I have been here 6 years and I absolutely love it here and best thing I did in my older age. My four children are so happy that I'm here and don't have to worry about me anymore. We also have life care which gives me peace of mind that they will take care of me until the day that I die. I love the exercise classes, the delicious meals, the numerous activities that we have here, like the dance we had here Saturday night, and had such a wonderful time at. I volunteer in Marketing where they treat me like gold and I could go on and on. Peace of mind is so important and I have it here.
