Regal Palms

The advantage of this facility is it allows you to move between buildings as their care needs evolve. It is crucial to monitor what services you are paying for versus what is actually being provided. From an Independent Living perspective, the facility is commendable. The same cannot be said for the Assisted Living side. We were paying over $[removed] a month for services such as bathing, laundry, room cleaning, and clothing assistance, none of which were being performed. These homes often document tasks as completed when they are not. My mother's room was dirty and undusted; the same dust ball remained on the floor for over a month, indicating that the floor was not being swept. My mother smelled of urine and had not been bathed, despite the staff assuring us that she had. Her feet were filthy, and her toenails were excessively long, as they had not been cut for six months or more, despite my repeated requests. I've filed a complaint with the state as I am worried about other residents

We have attended dinner with her and the servers are always nice, food is good and lots of selection. Facility is always clean and well decorated for the holidays. They have many activities so there always seems to be something going on. The apartment sizes are great, she actually downsized and did not notice a difference. Our loved one is very happy with her choice.

Both of my parents lived at Regal Palms Memory Care for two months. During that time, we were quite happy with the care given by the staff on the fourth floor Memory Care unit. The nursing staff and the social activities staff are wonderful. However, my experience with the administration of the facility changed when my mother was tested positive for Candida Auris. At that point, communication with the director of nursing and the executive director shut down. We were told that our mother was not welcome to return to the facility after her discharge from the hospital. I understand their need to err on the side of caution with this fungus. What I don't understand is being ignored and treated as if we no longer matter. Repeated phone calls to the executive director and the director of nursing were not returned. In spite of the lovely facilities and excellent care from the care staff, I would never recommend this facility.

Overall it was a great experience for me and my mom loves living there. The main reason we chose Regal Palms over others we saw was because of the way the facility was set up (all under one roof), friendliness of staff and residents. They also had updated units. I would recommend this community to others looking.

When my daughter and I moved to Florida from Colorado we soon after brought my mother out To join us. She needed assisted living and moved her to the Regal Palm. She was very happy there the food was good the staff was wonderful the residents would check on her and make sure she was good. It was just an overall good experience but it was too far from our residence so we had to move her. Even then they were extremely helpful and I just wanted to let people know they really do care

This is a good community. You don't have to worry about your loved one being here. This place gives you peace of mind. The biggest problem is they don't have enough staff to run the dining room. The residents don't get to go to the dining room. There are times the residents aren't getting food delivered due to the wait time and there isn't enough staff to deliver the food to the resident's rooms.

They had just opened up the dining room from being under covid, and even though they still have limited items the food was very good. The staff and other residents were very friendly. The value for cost is excellent.

It is a beautiful and new community. They have fine dining; however, right now they are delivering breakfast and dinner to us due to the pandemic. Bingo, exercise classes, swimming, lectures, and more are some of the activities for the residents to participate in.

The staff is amazing and know my loved ones name immediately. I'm impressed with the nursing staff but I would like to see more encouragement to participate in activities. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience

Great tour guide [name removed] she listened and understood and showed me exactly wha I needed to see. She made me feel much better about this difficult task. The Palms campus has everything my parents will need in different care levels so they can stay close, get the care and still feel independent. It’s my number 1

My parents are currently at Regal Palms. They used to love it, but in the last several months things have gone down hill FAST. Of particular note the meal service has changed dramatically. They used to have a choice of 3 different entrees at night, now it is one, and more often than not, that one is inedible. A lot of the reviews I read mentioned how good the food and food options are - that is no longer the case. I've tried to call and write to their Corporate offices, but no will will talk to me or response. When Management doesn't care, care goes down.

Very nice. Clean. All of my questions were answered. "Whole foods diet with focus on local, organic and sustainable ingredients." "We incorporate the Montessori approach ... to best discover the treasures within each resident." Hands-on activities. [Name removed] was well-prepared for my tour. Medical offices on the campus so no bus rides to distant doctor's office.

My mother in law hated losing her independence, but loves Regal Palms. She is proud to have company come visit her there and share in the wonderful food. We are happy with all of it!!! She has met many wonderful helpful friends there.All in all a great experience

This community was decent for the most part. The people were very nice and very helpful with everything and all the questions that we had. They did not offer the memory care that we were looking for and they were very expensive.

Seems very nice and is least expensive of the places we visited.

My parents are doing great. My mom likes that she is safe here and my father is getting use to the new environment. They are enjoying all the good meals that is made. They are participating in the activities like concerts and my mom enjoys walking her dog, there is about 27 other pets here. The staff are wonderful with them. My parent's have a beautiful apartment, it is very clean and you don't smell anything. It's like your going into a 5 star hotel.

I had to make the decision to move Mom in a hurry and from the moment I contacted Regal Palms its been great! The staff has given Mom extra attention since she's moved in just to make sure this is an easy transition for her. Originally we had a studio apartment for Mom and quickly learned that the space was just too small. The community was able to accommodate us quickly and get her in a 1 bedroom instead which was a blessing! Mom really enjoys the food and has even made some lady friends since moving in! Most of the time I can never get a hold of her until after dinner because she's busy socializing outside of her apartment. I am very happy with Regal Palms and their staff and would most definitely recommend!
