I would rate everything a 5 except the food/dining as a 4. Mom was OK with the food, just not overjoyed.Having been a nurse for over 40 years, she always had a critical eye for the care she received. She praised far more staff than she complained about. The facilities were always well kept. While she didn't participate in many of the activities, we, her sons, appreciated knowing they were there.... Read more

The Atria is a perfect place for my mother. She needs help with her daily routine, taking her medications and personal hygiene. Atria staff does all that and more. She has constant interaction, there is always something going on. There is also activities for families too. Pizza for a cause, Chili Pepper Cook - off, and many more. Plus she is treated with respect and dignity.

The staff is exceedingly friendly and always smile and say hello. I'm a frequent visitor there and the community is very welcoming. The rooms are clean. The nurses know the latest about my loved one without having to look at a chart.

My mother has lived at Atria Farmington for the past 18 months. The care provided by her aides and nurses is wonderful. The caring attentive staff easily adapt to the various needs of the residents. The atmosphere is positive and relaxed. The dining room flexibility allows meals to be enjoyed according to each resident's own time schedule. The outdoor patios provide enjoyable relaxing settings for the residents to socialize.

My dad has perked right up since moving to Atria. The admissions staff went out of their way to help him feel welcome. "Everyone knows my name", he says. He's 91 year old.

This community was a wonderful place for my mom. She went from being alone most days at home to having people and help around her all of the time. The staff is so helpful. She came "alive" after being here only a short time. I only wish we could have gotten her here sooner so she could have enjoyed it longer.

We moved our 92-yr-old father to Atria Farmington from another senior living community in this area: it's the best thing we could have done! The Executive director is obviously an accomplished and caring leader, and the phenomenal woman who runs the Memory Care Unit is amazingly effective, both knowledgeable and genuinely compassionate and caring. The staff is dedicated and responsive...and so much of what they do is really challenging and difficult. You can't make a better choice for kindness and responsible senior care. executive Drector

Moving my father to assisted living was a difficult decision but knowing that he is well cared for in a comfortable safe environment has convinced me that is was the right decision for us both. The staff are professional, warm, understanding and patient in dealing with his dementia and very supportive and helpful to me as well.

Yes, the faculty is beautiful. Yes, the nursing staff is incredible and some other employees are great. Otherwise, they have a systemic problem of incompetence and poor customer service. From the top down, there are no expectations placed on the employees. Very few even smile. My mother was so excited when she moved in, but we quickly learned that the sales team over sold and the management under delivered. It was a month before we even knew that the Atria laundered the sheets for us. It took me two months to understand the add-on prices. No one gave us a new resident informational packet or welcome tour. They just sold us on an over prices room with a half kitchen and left us to learn the benefits and policies on our own. My mother recently moved across the street to a building that is not as pretty, but a staff, from maintenance to the Executive Director that makes her feel special every single day.
