The staff that worked and cared for my husband at Falls River Court basically were understanding, but a bit impatient. They didn't wait for the shower water to get warm! The director was not the person to have been in charge. She showed no compassion or concern when I spoke with her. There was very little interaction between residents. I understand that many cannot, but there were some that enjoyed being outside, working in the above ground gardens, singing and playing games. The move in process was okay, but moving items with no help was difficult!

I would definitely recommend them. They have been a huge help for my mom and they treat her like family. They take care of the residents but there is always room for improvement.

The folks at Falls River Court were lovely. The physical space just didn't feel like the right fit for us. They spent time with us, answered all our questions and again seemed lovely. Their facilities just weren't the best fit for us.
Some of the caregivers are really good, and others are not. My loved one likes the food. Activities have improved and she goes above and beyond, to get the residents engaged. It's a close location. They need to improve on, their customer services skills, and being more welcoming when people walk in.

Staff was very attentive, thought they got to know my Mom well and always treated me like family too. The marketing people at other facilities that I looked at could not compete with [name removed] here. I would absolutely recommend Falls River Court to other families.

I wouldn't recommend Falls River Court to others for their loved one. My loved one was there starting in the middle of a month in the winter. The family would have to send an email for any questions or requests we had, as they wouldn't speak to us in person. The head nurse would ignore the family whenever we would visit. One day I received a phone call about my loved one and they stated my loved one fell in the community. In actual reality my loved one was pushed down by another resident. My loved one ended up dying because of a result of this incident. The community is refusing to communicate any further about giving us a refund due to our experience. The family has documentation about the incident in the community and about our loved one being pushed in writing by the hospital. The community will not acknowledge this incident and how they plan to fix this in the future.

July 22, 2022First, we are deeply sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. You’ve made serious claims about our community and our team members. We take your comments seriously and would like to investigate. If you’re open to discussing further, please contact 853fallsrivermkt@seniorlifestyle.com.
I think the people are really nice and caring. No place is perfect, but I feel like they take good care of my dad, and I feel comfortable if I had to go out of own leaving him there. It's a very nice, sunny building, which was one of features that attracted us to it. I also like that everything is on one floor, so he has a chance to walk around inside, and they have a nice inner courtyard as well. It was also the most affordable option we found.

Response from Falls River Court
June 28, 2022We hope your loved one is truly enjoying all the enriching activities and friendships that our community has to offer. Thank you for your review.
I would absolutely recommend this facility to friends or family, it wasn't the absolutely best experience we had but we did have a good experience. Our loved one received good care, and this community was just night and day compared to the previous community our loved one was at.

A Place for Mom has scored Falls River Court 8.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
