The staff treat your loved one as their family. The facility is clean and well maintained inside and outside. The staff smile at their patients, sing songs to them. Theres beautiful gardens to sit outdoors or walk around.

June 14, 2024Hello LA! Thank you so much for sharing and for the recommendation! We're glad it's been a positive experience. Please let us know if we can do anything more for you! - Cadence at North Raleigh by Cogir
Staff were very caring and helpful. They were kind to my sister and me as well as my mother. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were ok in a very stressful situation. Their nurse actually visited my mother while she was in the hospital to assess whether she would be a good fit.

The move was easy and fantastically simple. My loved one doesn't like the food, which is okay because she's very picky. I'm troubled by how hard it is to get information and healthcare concerns addressed.

February 23, 2024Hello! We're so glad your move was seamless and easy. Please reach out to us for more information about how we can help accommodate your loved one with meals. Thank you! - Cadence at North Raleigh
Staff was friendly, but they made promises they didn't keep. I don't completely blame them because my Mom's care level changed so quickly. But we met with the Director in person (who was really nice and helpful) and asked for 30 minute checks and they weren't doing it, even though my Mom needed it. We had a camera in there. Bottom line is, we didn't trust Cadence with my Mom's changing and dire needs (she had just moved 10 days prior), so we kept on the private duty nurses before she moved to hospice 10 days later. Moving process was fine and meals were fine. They suggested finger foods when she couldn't eat much at the end of her life, which was helpful but she wasn't thinking about feeding herself. She needed someone in there reminding her to eat, so we hired private nurses to be in there with her.

Our loved one was only there for a week so we did not have a lot of experience at all, but from everything, we did experience it was positive. We dealt with the sales lady a lot and she was extremely friendly, kind and helpful. We do feel that the staff members went above and beyond for our family. From the move-in day up until her last day, we were very happy with them, with no complaints whatsoever.
This has been an excellent experience for us. The caregivers are very attentive to the resident's needs. They are compassionate as well. There are a lot of activities for the residents to participate in, no matter the resident's activity level. The food has been excellent. There are three meals a day served, and there are a couple of choices to choose from. There is always hydration and snacks available. The individual apartments available are the nicest I have seen. It is very light, bright, and modern.

Cadence was horrible. The furniture, carpet & baseboards were dirty and the person giving the tour seemed to hate her job.
Everything is fine but you need to have your own medical resources. I know Cadence is looking into other vendors for medical services so may get better.

I toured this facility. It was very big, actually too big. I didn't see how special care for cognitively impaired residents could be impactful.
Clean, friendly staff, they have housekeeping. I would recommend them to others.

Cadence at North Raleigh would be a very good place if you have a loved one who is mobile, and has (at least) pretty good cognition.

My loved one, eats really good, and likes the food. They offer different activities, and my loved one participates in some, such as singing and bingo. They offer exercises also. This is a really good community for dementia patients. It's really a cozy environment. My loved one is more engaged and is talking more.

We chose Cadence mainly because of the convenient location and we had a recommendation from a friend as well. The room sizes are adequate. They have hired a new chef who has not started yet so w are very hopeful. The residents have just started a food committee where they can talk about their likes and dislikes. It is a light and bright atmosphere, there is plenty of outdoor space for when the weather is nice, and they have a lot of activities provided. The activities director has been wonderful. I would recommend to others looking.

I feel the staff are attentive to the residents. I have never walked in and been overcome by the smell of urine, which can be very common in these types of places. From what I've observed, the staff-to-patient ratio is very high. And they're very willing to assist you if you ask for help for your loved one. They get immediately on it.

The services they provide are excellent. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need to gain access for visitation or to handle other important business, they're very cooperative.

We chose this facility because of the location as well as the smaller size. They do have a lot of turnover in administrative staff, but I have had good response time from the new management. I do see residents participating in activities when I go to visit. Personnel seem to be caring and compassionate about what they do. Overall I have been satisfied with our experience so far and would recommend.
