Lynn's Home at Riverside

I'm involved in the dementia care field, and ever since I toured LCH at Riverside, I recommend it without reservation to everyone. The house is immaculate. The management is highly involved down to the smallest detail. I saw residents who were so obviously comfortable and well cared for. It felt as though I were walking into a friend's home and spending time with their grandmothers and aunts.

This is a wonderful family care home that provides excellent support, compassionate care, and commitment to the residents. The owner of this care home is very person-centered and does this from their heart. It is a beautiful home filled with fun activities! I would highly recommend this more intimate home.

My mother was a resident for the last two years of her life. I was pleased to be able to bring her to the Riverside Care Home. My mom was pretty advanced but was taken care of with the best staff i could ask for. [name removed] is the Lead and she made my experience pleasant and stayed in communication with me weekly. The greatest advantage is the staff to client ratio of 2 to 1. My mom did well there until her recent passing. The staff ratio/ nice community, and care is what makes the care home worth the money.

My aunt was a resident before her passing at Riverside! She received the most loving care possible! I would recommend this care home to anyone! Your loved one receives individual care as if they are in their own home! The small environment offers the comforts of one's own home! The staff was always on top of everything! I enjoyed every visit there!

My mom and I have been part of the Lynn's Home family for the past six years. And I use the word family on purpose. Because it is a close knit 'home' where the caregivers get to know the residents and their families and families get to know the caregivers and other residents. The staff turnover is fairly low which allows consistency, something important for dementia patients. Because they deal with dementia on a daily basis, and have done so for many years, they are very knowledgeable about the complexities of the disease and are well equipped to understand the descent into the abyss. Not only do they understand it, but they are also willing to identify and use whatever resources are available for the safety and protection of the residents. When Covid hit, the facility was proactive in implementing protective measures to prevent infection and actively monitored the guidance being provided. If you are looking for a safe, intimate, environment, you don't need to look any further.

Approximately three years ago I was forced to make one of the most difficult decisions a daughter could make. As much as I wanted to care for my mom, I work FT and raising two, young boys. I searched everywhere and the thought of putting mom in a nursing home was stressful and not an option for me. Words cannot begin to express how happy I am to find Lynn’s Home at Riverside. Not only do they take care of my mom, but they take care of me too. I’ve shed so many tears throughout this process and although I’ve lost a part of my mom, I’ve gained an extended family. The atmosphere is so warm; just like home! It’s always clean and the owner always decorate for the season which is a nice touch. In a perfect world, I wish my mom didn’t need a place like this. However, since she does, this is the perfect place for her.

The individual care each residents receives makes it even better than staying in your own home. When a decision needs to be made of where to live when you need specialized care it is made easier with this care home. The owner is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. This care home is the best.

[name removed] has a great community that provide unparalleled care for those suffering from dementia. Clean, care givers that are like family with home cooked meals. My mom was incontinent but with the toileting program, mom only needs at night. After mom bring in a big building, I would never recommend to go back. Lynn’s Care provide great care and that’s all that matters.

I have referred a few adult children the Lynn’s Care homes for their mom’s and dad’s. It is a hidden jewel for those suffering from Alzheimer’s. Small setting with clean rooms, home cooked meals and fantastic care. Lynn’s Care Homes and [name removed] provides great care and if only every place provided this level of care & communicated with families , you would know why there is no other place to go.

Lynn’s care home provides a safe, clean and caring neighborhood environment. My mom received amazing care and flourished to the best of her ability with a lovely group of other women suffering from Dementia. My mom ate well with the home cooked meals and enjoyed the roommates. I remember listening to her and the housemate talk about the good old days. The care staff became family too!

Small, safe, clean home providing home cooked meals for sweet residents suffering from Alzheimer’s. [name removed] and care staff provided a peace of mind that my mom was well cared for at Lynn’s Care Home. Based on bigger communities, the value is worth every penny as well as the care provider. You will not find it anywhere else. My mom did wonderful in the care at Lynn’s Care Home!

This place is the absolute next best thing to your mother staying in her own home. In fact, it is a home. Just 5 or 6 women living like a family in a real house in a real neighborhood with round the clock care. The staff is kind and the manager is relentlessly on top of things and knows what's going on with each resident at all times. Amazing that this place doesn't really cost any more than soulless big-box facilities. If you're lucky enough to find a space here, take it!

Lynn’s Care Hone provide exceptional and loving care for my mom. The staff is attentive and notice slight changes in the residents especially when my mom had a UTI and I couldn’t even tell. They provide home cooked, nutritious meals. I love that it is small, a few other beautiful ladies to walk the journey together in each other’s company. My mom had lovely conversation with her housemates reminiscing about their lives. [name removed] is amazing too. She is always providing constant communication

This is a wonderful, loving home for my elderly mother. It is not an institution and that is why we love it. My mom especially enjoys mealtime and interaction with others. The staff is incredibly kind and supportive. Before we found this community she was struggling with daily living tasks and falls. It gives us so much relief to know that she is now properly cared for. She is thriving and loves Lynn’s Care Home.

The care given to my mother with Lynn’s care Village is always Beyond and above my expectations. There is a higher ratio of care givers to clients so I can always be assured that my mother is getting the most attention and the best quality healthcare that money can buy. We have had my mother in some of the newer bigger facilities that are more expensive… But the care was lacking. I was always worried about her there. No enough staff for good personal care. Lynn‘s care Village… Can change your life… it has mine. I am confident that putting mom…in A setting that feels like home was the BEST decision for her! The food is amazing, the rooms are cozy. And I have always been impressed with the employees concern for my mom. One of the highest rated care facilities available. Get your mother in the place where she can get the best care! Momma loves her home away from home. Five star rating for cleanliness!
