Generally well pleased . Staff is very courteous and respond to requests quickly . Premises are kept spotless. Place is cheerful.

It is a beautiful facility with a lot of green space compared to others. The staff has been great. The only negatives are it sometimes takes a while to get phone calls returned when leaving a message. The food could be better but there is a new manager that just took over and he is very responsive. And lastly it is in the high end price wise but probably worth it overall. I would recommend the facility to others.

Great overall - my mom has been at Evergreen for over 2 years. Evergreen is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. The meals are good with lots of options. They have lots of activities. My mom enjoys going to the movies there, crafts and musical groups. She goes to some program almost every day. The cost is expensive, but most of the other places in the area are just as much.

I wanted to take a few minutes to let everyone know how much my family and I appreciate the folks at Evergreen Wellspring. Since being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2023, my dad has had to deal with likely the most challenging episode of his life. Moving a loved one into senior living for the first time was also a huge undertaking for our family and one we did not take lightly. We are extremely happy with the decision we made to move our dad to Evergreen and now into the Memory Care unit at Wellspring. In the six weeks he has been at Memory Care, his demeanor has changed significantly and is now in a much better place than he was those last few weeks in Independent. I cannot say enough about the staff at Evergreen Wellspring. Every interaction I have had with staff there has been positive and reassuring. I specifically want to recognize [name removed], all of the staff at the Memory Care unit and even [name removed] up front who always greets us with a smile and asks about my dad whenever I see him. If anyone I know has a loved one looking for senior living, I will certainly recommend Evergreen Wellspring.

Friendliness of staff - my initial contact was [removed] who was fantastic, a combination of sales and onboarding. He was patient and checked in approximately every 3 to 4 weeks while I reviewed and visited other properties. But once my parents moved in and [name removed] was promoted to another role, the friendliness and helpfulness of their team stopped ABRUPTLY. The assisted living and rehab are terrible. I came in to visit my father who has dementia and was in rehab as a fall risk was sitting on the toilet by himself. Not fully staffed and while he was there, imagine a 90 year old man with dementia and his 86 year old wife having to sit with you for up to 9 hours a day just to insure you are fed a hot meal, and to have clothes changed and you are charging people high amounts. People need to know. My girlfriend told me about her experience when her mom needed memory care....it wasn't good and I should have listened. But compared to some other places, I thought Evergreen would be better. But it isn't, do yes, use it.

For the most part, it is a lovely place. My mother thinks the staff members are very nice and friendly. There is usually something going on there, for my mom to do. It's expensive.... but it is beautiful and everyone is nice there. The food (especially food service) is not the best. It takes a ling time in the dining room to het served- like an hour most days. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families! It is really a great place. There will always be little things that are not quite right with any place, but overall, it is very good.

There were several issues that were uncovered during the turn over process. Ultimately, the issues have been resolved. The only negative that caused frustration was the lack of communication. I feel that the people who are hired to assist the residents are under staffed. They always seem busy and it is hard to get answers to requests or questions.

My mom recently moved to assisted-living and it’s been over two weeks with no air conditioning. How in the world is that not a priority? Also, they advertise guest housing, which would be so helpful but at least in the past few years that my mom has been there they have always told me that it’s closed. Additionally, they advertise as having a lovely pool, but it has never been open and all the years I’ve been there. Finally, they assured us that my mom could receive transportation to appointments if given 24 hours notice. Even when we try to give a weeks notice, they have never once come through with that so many disappointments and not what was originally presented to us when we moved her in. As it becomes summer and she still doesn’t have air-conditioning, I am just so worried.

The director of dining needs to do better. I asked about my mom’s dietary needs and I got blown off. How does this place stay in business seriously? Not to mention she was beyond rude and looked like she was too busy to take my request.

I found most of the staff to be friendly and helpful. Upper Management is useless. House keeping is good, but depends on the person you get. Communication is fair and requires follow up to get answers. The move in process was fair, but needs work. Need to ensure stuff works in apartment before you move in. The majority of the meals are poor quality, burnt, small portions and just poorly served. Management needs to address a persons concerns. It's hard to get follow up there. Need to hire more staff especially on weekends. I would not recommend this facility.
Evergreen is a great facility and what drew me to them was the environment and the people that helped me initially [names removed]. But since my loved one has been there, the regular staff has been just as good. The apartment is very nice. The food is good. But the one part that really makes me feel I made the right choice is the activities. My dad is suffering from Alzheimer's, so to have activities to take part is is huge. I would 10 out of 10 recommend Evergreen and am very thankful that we were connected with them.

Overall touring experience with [name removed] was good. However when dealing with other staff members, I felt rushed like they just wanted to close the deal....however, they must be understaffed. It is clean, and decorated nicely, grounds are lovely. For quality of care, not good. We have used the on-site pay by the half area services and so little is explained to you. Rushed, no pleasantries, I'm thinking of getting an outside service. Meals have plenty of variety and dining room staff is very nice. Not sure, no introduction, and no new resident coordinator. I feel like I'm living there to get parents acclimated.

My mom feels at home in the independent living at Evergreen. She moved from out of state and is acclimating well and feels safe. We haven't experienced the higher care/assisted living aspect. The grounds and condo are the best I've seen in the area, and I've looked. It is expensive. But I know she is safe there and has transportation and a community. The church services and deacon are great. Evergreen is home, and we are glad to have found this community. Also in close proximity to hospital and medical needs. They have helped us tremendously on the move-in process and getting everything in the condo ready. The process was daunting, especially since my mom is a widow and moved from out of state. Evergreen was very helpful in accommodations for this move. I would also like to add they put my mom up in a furnished apartment while waiting for her things to be delivered. We had issues with the moving truck, and this was amazing that they could have her stay there for the duration until her things arrived. They were beyond accommodating. The furnished apartment was so very helpful, because if this wasn't available, we would have had to put her in a hotel.

The staff were very nice but the community was very spread out and it did not work for the layout that we wanted for my loved one. It just didn't feel very homey and my loved one had trouble getting through it due to how much walking is required.

My loved ones have not felt very welcome here. They have had problems with maintenance, they have been poor to respond and my loved ones are considering moving out and canceling the lease. They have had a horrible experience and have sent letters and reached out to Evergreen about the concerns and have been dissatisfied with the response.

We do not have much feedback as of right now, but the feedback we do have is we know our loved one is not happy with the meals they are serving. There are also no activities right now.

The community made us guarantee our loved one at the beginning and that all cost extra. So the man issue was that there were additional charges due to covid but no refund when our loved one passed.
