Finding a place for my mom that matched her expectations and mine was quite the adventure. Cedar Ridge was very welcoming and allowed us to visit numerous times before we made any type of commitment. This is a place for those who desire independent living and also those requiring assisted help. Mom has been there for two months now and has no regrets. She is very independent and still feeling that way. The numerous activities keep her social and looking forward to the next day. My wife [name removed] spent her last days at Cedar Ridge and was attended to with care. She probable wasn’t their easiest patient, but enjoyed the dining experience and amenities provided. The semi-isolated location in the forest was pleasant and comforting.

The staff is wonderful, everyone is friendly and helpful. The only thing that gets boring is the menu. It's the same thing every other week.

I gave the food less than perfect, but I think it actually is pretty dang good. They have trouble with enough serving staff. Also my parents don't really take advantage of the salad bar and the soup but they love both. They get pretty darn good food but they do complain a little bit. I think they've handled outbreaks of Covid very well too. My parents are in the independent living, but they've provided assistance every single time they've ever been needed. I just am amazed. My mom is easy to live with, but my dad is extremely obnoxious in so many ways. They've handled it beautifully and haven't kicked him out. He's even more social in a positive way than I've ever seen him before in my life. I could go on and on

The staff at Cedar Ridge is amazing! So fun to be around. It feels like you are on holiday. Everyone is smiling and laughing. The food is really good. Made with fresh veggies. The activities are so fun. There is something to do every hour, every day. I would absolutely recommend Cedar Ridge to others. The people that live there would tell you that they love it. I love that it is a mix of retired and assisted.

My loved one is currently a resident at Cedar Ridge by Bonaventure and everything has been great for him at this facility so far. It's a very nice place. All of the staff: caregivers, waiters, administrative are so friendly and go out of their way to make everyone feel special. The friendliness is a 5 plus! The care services and activities are great. The meals and value for cost are very good. I highly recommend Cedar Ridge by Bonaventure to others!

Too good to be true! The staff at Cedar Ridge have all been consistently friendly and helpful and my father has really come to life. They were able to welcome him and make him feel right at home from minute one. My mom is always friendly, she's easy. The housekeeping seems to be very consistent. I haven't seen any concerns. Communication with the family has been amazing. My mom has been a little shy about taking up all the offers that they have. They've stepped in to make it even easier. They do not like every single meal however, the chef has come out and visited with them on a regular basis and it really is amazing food for the most part. The salad bar is wonderful, so they get their fresh fruits and vegetables every day. They love soup, and the soups are always good. They are not hungry! I wasn't involved with the move in process, but it went okay. The facility staff were amazing, according to those that were there. I would recommend Cedar Ridge to others. Hey, I would move in!

They have been helpful. It has been very different during the pandemic. The staff is very helpful. The activities brought her out of her shell. She loves and thrives in different activities. My loved one has gone through major social growth. It took her out of a depressing setting, and made her more social, which has changed her whole moood, and made it very positive. Overall, they were very accomodating to get my loved one into the community.

This is a very convenient location for the family to visit our loved one. They have friendly staff. The staff are very easily accessible if the family has questions or concerns about our loved one. Some of the activities are arts and crafts, social hour, games, exercise and more for the residents to participate in.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked it, but our mother did not really care for it. She was not familiar with the location and thought the surrounding trees made it feel a little darker. However the gal in charge of the tour was wonderful
This is a nice clean community for us and could be for your loved one. They have Medicare conversion and this is very hard to find at all of the communities this was one of my biggest selling points. The interactions that I have had so far with the staff have been good.

I was very impressed by the whole tour experience with Cedar Ridge, unfortunately the location was just too far from family.
Now I have a tiny one bedroom one bathroom assisted living apartment with a "kitchenette". Just big enough for me and my 2 cats. Yes they do allow pets here. I'm on the assisted side because #1, that's all they had at the time I moved in, & #2, that's the only way Medicare will take residents, is if they're on assisted living. The apartments are really nice and clean, their food is really good, they do weekly housekeeping or more if you need it, they have activities, if you want to join in, they have bingo nights and a theater. It's a big room with a big screen tv and they show movies that are on Amazon Prime They do outings (when it's not COVID) and they have a bus that does grocery runs and Dr runs a few days a week for those who don't drive or can't drive. I use that usually in the winter. The staff here is amazing. They're really nice and so easy to talk to about any concerns you might have, either with the community, your apt, or personally. It's just a good place to be.

We chose Cedar Ridge because it is a facility secluded back in the woods and we liked scenery. The room sizes here are good, they do also have options you are able to choose from. He was in a studio with a large bathroom and now is in a 1 bedroom and it is great size. The food could use improvement, he says the flavor is the bland due to dietary restrictions. I would recommend to others looking.

A Place for Mom has scored Cedar Ridge by Bonaventure 9.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
