Brookdale Paddock Hills

It is a wonderful place, my family member is happy there, food is "excellent", staff is friendly and nice. It is very clean smelling and well kept.

I moved my Mother there 4 months ago and she is 100% happy there and the staff has done great helping her with the transition. She was real reluctant to go to assisted living because she can do a lot on her own but she knows she needs help with other things but has nothing but good things to say about her new home.

she went a week without a bath. Wore same clothes the whole time and they kept telling us they couldn't make her bathe. They are professionals in healthcare. She had poop on her bed, chair and commode on several occasions. She had Covid and did die from it I begged for them to give comfort meds and they said she would get it around clock and didn't inform me the med tech would not be there the night before we moved her to hospice. I can go on and on. She did enjoy the meals and dining a lot but the activities were very minimal. Do NOT recommend this facility or if you do make sure loved ones understand all of this.

Very few activities, especially for the men. Food is only mediocre, it's not as clean as I'd hoped.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Paddock Hills and the overall experience was terrible. They sold us a bill of goods that they couldn't deliver. My loved one required way more than they could handle, and they knew it going in. The care was terrible and they charged us the max care rate for the two months that my loved one was a resident there. Some of the staff were very friendly, but there were only a couple of aides that were worth their wages. Overall, the value for cost is overrated. The front office, including the Director, took no accountability. The reception desk staff were good. Overall, I definitely would not recommend Brookdale Paddock Hills to others.

I believe all categories would score a 5. All he folks we've met there are very friendly and helpful. Mom says the meals are wonderful. The facility is always clean, I think the floors of individuals ' rooms could be better swept and mopped. Hallways and communal rooms are spotless. There has been a discrepancy in cost each month, billing department says X is the cost, I was promised that Y was the figure. I have been paying what I was told and so far no big problems.

Assisted Living is not for folks that need help with everything, even if the addendums say so. Really look over the contract before you sign.....check to see if there are many empty rooms, too. That's a sign.

We’ve had an excellent experience. People have been extraordinarily kind, helpful, supportive and informative. We get emails often from staff about my mother, and we get phone calls when there have been problems. I like the facility because it is small, and the community is solid. The staff and the director have been there for a while, and that’s important too. And they post picture updates often on their Facebook page so that I can see my mother and how she’s doing. They’ve helped us with medical paperwork and been really wonderful so far. I know my mother is getting good care in the memory care facility.

Very impressed with the kindness, friendliness, and the compassion shown by the care staff and the administration staff, including the front desk personnel.

Everything gets 5 stars from me minus the food because I have not eaten here yet. The main reason we chose Brookdale Paddock Hills was because of the value for the money compared to others that we looked into. What has stuck out most about tis facility is the people, everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Having my wife living here has me feeling like she is getting the best care. Everyone is friendly.

Everyone has been super caring and kind. My father needed a few extra accommodations and they were ready and willing to fill those needs!

The staff and personnel have all been Angels, very professional. The care and with them remembering names and addressing all as such make everyone feel at home. Some of the personnel goes above and beyond anything I had ever thought possible. Thank you for a wonderful place.

My experience with an assisted living facility (ALF) and Brookdale has been a good one - it's like living in a small village. The staff are friendly, thoughtful, and helpful, and I've made new friendships with residents.

Everything has been great. The cafe has been great. Wish I could use names as some of the staff is outstanding. With the weekday staff a bit better than the weekends. But lots of good ones.

Great place. Staff is wonderful. Facility is great. Mom loves it here. Great value.
