I have been very happy here at Brookdale. The staff here is gentle, kind, well organized with helping you any way they can. Maintenance is wonderful. Activities never am stops which I participate in surrounding are kept well manicured. Staff is so willing to help you in anyway.

Everyone has made it comfortable and welcome since we arrived. Also the food is wonderful.

My "senior living" home is becoming more of a senior care facility (not a complaint). Wheelchair/walker population has grown. All of us mobile or not enjoy excellent care and service. Maintenance and housekeeping are kept busy. Additional trained staff in the dining room would be an improvement.

I have been at this facility for last 3 1/2 years and my experience for living here is super and I feel it like home with lot of friends, caring, people. Experience here has changed my views about senior communities from marginal to excellent. I have recommended it to my friends.

Excellent place to live and enjoy your life in old age. Staff are very helpful. Food is great. Lot of activities to keep you busy. Maintenances is perfect.

This is a wonderful facility good food, with many options. Above all the management is very approachable and understanding. We can participate in many activities according to our capabilities. I love it here!

I led a lonely existence before I moved to Brookdale. As an introvert. I engaged with very few people. That's impossible here. The friendly residents and supportive staff broke the shell I lived in. Brookdale with its beautiful grounds, functional living spaces and caring staff, enriches my life everyday. I'm forever grateful for Brookdale.

They have wonderful food in each restaurant and they have a lot of activities for us to participate in. The cost is high but under new mangers and they are working on cost. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families. They have great staff and people are very friendly

I went and took a tour at the facility, to find out even before viewing the facility that they are an "on demand" facility when it comes to nursing. Not for someone who needs medical help or can't live on their own. I will not be vesting into this facility for my aunt, as it is not what she needs.

My husband has a medical condition that requires his room temperature to be consistent around 72-73 degrees. Well, that weekend was a mess and first his room AC went out, then the next day, the whole building AC went. We spent all those days trying to find the coolest floor/room. We moved him back home and requested our money/deposit back, which was refunded 100% minus three nights. We learned alot, thank you!

Every experience has been very positive. They follow up on anything we have questions about or any needs for my family member. Physical therapy department is very professional, entire staff of Brookdale are friendly &professional.

Everyone was extremely nice!!! I would say if you have any special needs or requests, it could be difficult to know who to ask at first to get the response you need - but I did eventually get my questions answered and things taken care of. I thought the apartment sizes were good. My mom didn't have a lot, but it worked out well for her - especially if your mobility is limited, everything is very easy to get to. No tricky hallways or turns like some other places I saw. I have to say the kitchen was a bit too small in her apartment because she used a walker and really didn't have much space for that while she tried to use the kitchen.

What we like the most about the Brookdale Hoffman Estates is the full service...everything from entertainment to on-site doctors to wonderful caring, friendly staff, good meals and a hospital next door.

I would honestly give everything a five. My father passed away last October- I had so much help and guidance with caregiving from staff at Brookdale- which was wonderful. The food , size of apt, and cost was his motivating factor to move to Brookdale. Now my mother is doing well with all the activities and the staff is great with her and let me know how she's doing. She has lots of friends on her floor to hang out with.

Brookdale is a safe and interesting place to live. There are many great activities, games, and entertainment to choose each day. Staff are very caring and helpful.

5 for all. Staff is fantastic and very caring. Quality of care - I am entirely independent. I utilize shuttle bus for shopping and medical appointments. Great transportation coverage 5 days week. Meals are amazing and the dining room uses linen tablecloth and napkins. Set a beautiful table. Wait staff is very attentive. Always open for suggestions to improve. Huge variety of activities and social opportunities. People are free to participate as much or as little as they choose. I think value for cost is very good.

I stayed at Brookdale Hoffman Estates while I recovered from a broken shoulder. I would give this place an A++. The food is excellent, great variety. The staff was kind, and all the residents are so happy to be living here. I would strongly consider moving here in the future.

I would recommend Brookdale to anyone. My mother has been very happy at Brookdale. The staff and residents are very friendly.

Happy to give 5 Stars to Brookdale Hoffman Estates, 5 stars for the physical facility and 5 stars for the excellent staff. Two words come to mind as I watch Brookdale staff work with residents who are in some state of memory loss or dementia: PATIENT and KIND.
