Brookdale East Mesa

Everyone at this brookdale facility knows the residents names and makes sure they are acknowledged and gets personal attention from the executive directors down to the care givers and cleaning people. They always treat residents and visitors with dignity and respect.

My wife as been a resident of Brookdale for 6 months. The care that she has received has been excellent. The care givers, med techs and all support staff have provided a safe and caring environment. The facility is smaller than a lot of other facilities, which in my opinion is good. I try to visit my wife every day and she is well cared for. They have an activity center that provides for set down exercise. In addition they have various other activities to try to keep the residents active and engaged. The residents eat in an assigned dining area which is located in their unit. The meals are well prepared and served three times a day. Snacks are always available. Someone on the staff always calls me if there is an unusual event that happens with my wife.

Usually the room is clean and so is the resident. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Resident claims everyone is friendly to her.

My mom has been in assisted living facilities for the past 10 years. This memory care facility is the best we have seen! The staff and care givers put the residents care at top priority. They have a lot of patients to care for them/talk to them at their level. Activities coordinators are amazing!

My sister was moved to Brookdale East Mesa because she has Alzheimer's and dementia. We needed her placed somewhere that was a locked facility as we were afraid of her wandering away. The staff made the move in so easy, the facility is lovely and medical attention is just what she needed/ We truly rest easy knowing she is in a lovely place that is safe for her. We are so glad we found Brookdale.

My mother has been under great care for years and I could not be happier that we found somewhere we feel she is safe and well taken care of.

My mom has very happily lived at this Brookdale location for over 6 years now. She loves the staff and her friends who live there. Her needs are tended to and I always get a call of extra reassurance about her well being or status if she is sick. I know I can depend on the nurses for updates on her care.

We have been having trouble with the billing and they keep telling me they are working on it. I keep getting bizarre bills and late fees when it has been paid in full. They are saying it is all corporate, it is still not resolved and she has been in here a few months. It has been very frustrating.

I have been here a month and so far everything is great! I have no complaints

We have been coming here twice a week to see our Mom. Always welcomed by all, beginning with the welcome at the front office. The staff is so wonderful. Thank you all!

The staff at Brookdale are very attentive, keep you updated, and when you need their assistance they are very willing to assist. The meet the needs beyond expectations and I am grateful we found Brookdale. Thank you.

My mother resides at Brookdale East, and it was the best decision I could have made. The staff is amazing! They go above and beyond to make sure my mother's needs are being met everyday. My mother has lived in this community for the last year. Brookdale East Mesa is wonderful community. It is smaller and focuses on memory care. The staff are well trained and care about the well being of each person. The pandemic has made this first year even more challenging, but staff have been creative to find ways to help families connect and visit while keeping, residents safe. They provide various social and supportive opportunities that I was not able to give her. I'm absolutely grateful for the staff here. The decision of placing my Mom in memory care was beyond difficult, but I'm confident she is in the right place-and it is all because of the staff in this facility. They are my family.

I am supported by [names removed]. There is one other you woman that has walked me back to see my mom as well and she too has been very sweet. The communication has been excellent even with COVID and they report any changes or incidents immediately. they are quick to respond and follow up. Often when I speak with my mom someone is there helping her. I feel very fortunate to have them for all my mom's needs and support.

I ended up picking this facility for my friend because they have a have animals in the building and she loved them. All of the staff here is very competent and capable. I have no complaints about them. What I really like that they do, is they bring her to all of the activities. They offer things like watching TV, crafts, and sing-a-longs. It’s a very well kept facility and there is no odor at all. I would recommend this facility to other families.

They've taken really good care of my mom she needed some rehab and some breathing treatments that they have helped her with. They engage her to come out of her room. They are so kind and patient. I like that they offer an education class for people with dementia for the family. It is as clean as it can be with dementia residents but my moms room is always clean and has no smell. They have a secured courtyard area and they have a house cat and a house dog for everyone to enjoy. It has 2 common area with T.V.s in it. There is a specified room for family gatherings if needed. There are wonderful daily activities like bingo and they will set her up at the computer so she can see what is going on in here hometown and other games too. I would recommend this community.
