Brookdale Chandler Ray Road

My family had a good experience with Brookdale Ray Road. They found a room for my Dad and prepared it for his arrival. Unfortunately my dad's condition deteriorated and we had to cancel our plans. We had paid the move in cost and one month rent and we're not expecting a refund. But Brookdale refunded a majority of what we paid without any effort. I think they were fair and we're nice to work with.

Overall experience: 5 - For what my Mother needed at that time, it was perfect for her. We learned that she could use more independence and moved her elsewhere. Friendliness of staff: 4 - most very helpful and communicative. Meals/dining: 3. Food is ok, seating arrangement approach not great for mixing. Activities: 4 - some are juvenile but good overall and well-intentioned to span the needs of all. Value for cost: it is competitive for low touch needs, not sure about add on a la cart care needs

My mom is doing great at Brookdale Chandler Ray Road! The staff is friendly and has been available for immediate needs.

She enjoyed it. I can see how others may not. Older facility but clean Had few issues with a couple employees but most staff was friendly. Had a few major issues at the end. Night shift nursing staff didn't really attend to her comfort. Constant change in cooking staff. Most residents didn't care for the food prepared Had a great activities director. Definitely catered to the residence desires. Definitely more expensive than the service and the facility warranted. It has now been over a year since my mother has passed. If there has been a change in the nursing staff, I would recommend. If there has not, I would not.

The staff is kind and caring, they do try to be as helpful as they can within the guidelines of the residents care level. Properly prepared food would be an improvement. They tend to either over cook many things, and their selection could stand being expanded. They only offer one entree each meal, with only grilled cheese as an alternative

I love the care and ease of my mother's life there.

Brookdale is a good place. Selected Brookdale for cost that floats with level of care needed and my mom needs very little. Also, other places looked more like hotels with gathering points while Brookdale was more a community with many areas to utilize.

I would definitely recommend Brookdale Chandler Ray Road to others. The staff is very friendly and have a special heart in caring for seniors. The Activities Director is amazing. She is very inclusive and encourages my Mom to participate. We had a challenge with the initial set up of payment for direct withdrawal, but we were able to get it resolved. The food lacks fresh vegetables. The family events have been wonderful and we enjoy being able to bring the grandkids and great grandkids to Grandma's house.

It started off rocky. They had no housekeeping, and it was slow response time. It has greatly improved, the last 6 months. The nurse [name removed] is outstanding. The peace of mind is great for me. The meals have improved.

We chose Brookdale Chandler Ray Road because it was the only place that I walked into that really felt like home. There is not enough words that can describe the nursing staff. They are caring, attentive, and just overall fantastic. The director [name removed] is also amazing. Communication has been great, they contact us by email, text message, and phone call when necessary. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

This is a great place! The community staff is fabulous. This is the place to live, if you need a place. I've had the chance to meet with the staff and they are all wonderful! I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. Will is the director here. The community made my loved one pancakes to make sure my loved one would eat. There is a large room for the residents to play kickball, a pool table, and a wonderful activities director.

When we first signed up they told us there would be a set rate for the room that would never ever go passed that set rate. However they continued to tack on money and fees for services, medication handling and for having people coming in and out. The staff was a revolving door and there was a lack of communication. The price was just outrageous.

The personnel was very well informed and I liked the rooms. The only drawback was the age of the facility.

This community is a good one. The staff are very helpful and friendly for the residents and family members. They are allowing visits as long as your COVID test is negative. The community is allowing virtual visits with your family member, as long as it is scheduled in advanced.

Very nice facility with super friendly staff and very nice rooms. Services and amenities seemed very good and quite accommodating. Price was bit too much for our budget.

We went on a tour here and it was nice. It was more geared towards before memory care. I don't think they had what we needed here. The staff was considerate, warm and inviting. We had to chose elsewhere.

I really liked the Brookdale Chandler Ray Road community. It is a beautiful and clean environment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They would have been very accommodating to our needs. We ended up choosing another community based on a family member who requested closer proximity to their location.

I chose Brookdale Chandler - the first place I checked out. Brookdale had exactly what I wanted, all the amenities, plus the best pricing plan I had received to date. I have been treated well, kept informed and assisted with the entire process. This is important for my peace of mind as well as seeing my father happy and enjoying life again. Thank you so very much!
