Brookdale Bradenton Gardens

Would highly recommend Brookdale for anyone looking for a home for their loved one in need of additional assistance in their later years. The staff n nurses n everyone we encountered made us feel safe n welcome.

It took over 6 months for them to get billing correct, long story. Mom and [name removed] really like most of the staff. Especially [name removed], who is really helpful and caring. My mom is always happy when [name removed] is working. I do realize it is hard to get and keep good help these days. The nurses seem good also. And, they have met some nice people and made some friends.

When we first arrived, the room was filthy. We had to actually clean it before we could move my mother in. She never got showers the first couple weeks she was there then I found out the lady that did my billing and paperwork. It was all done wrong and they wanted to charge me couple thousand more, she was never put on a care plan even though we were paying for it, there was only one nurse name [name removed] that actually did communication with us.and help she was great Other than that you couldn’t understand or communicate with the staff they still owe me money because my mother had to be taken out of there because of an issue with another resident . And my mom was always soaked in urine

We love the staff, they're very friendly. The nice residents have also helped her to adapt. The food is not that great. Hate to say that, but for what people pay in any of these facilities, dining should be something they can look forward to.

What we like the most about the Brookdale Bradenton Gardens is how homey it feels and the staff members that are working there are great. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

My Mom was only there for a few months. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and that is the reason we chose this facility. They take care of their clients and are engaging. I'm having difficulty with settling my Dad's account, but I'm hoping that will be rectified shortly.

My loved one is a resident at Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. Overall, we have had a great experience at this facility so far. The meals are like home cooking and there are many activities offered. I would recommend this facility to others.

They need help with the cleanliness. It's not worth the money. They could make sure that the food comes out hot, and the variety that they present when you first come in, does not exist. The food is always cold. They need more fresh veggies, and more balanced options. They can be more interactive, after moving in. My loved one needed extra care, and it was challenging getting additional care that was needed.

They treat my loved one, with kindness and respect. Much more kindness than his previous home. They let him take endless library books even if he cannot read...I bring them back to the library. The people that work there....they are caring people. I wish we would of found this place first.

Brookdale Bradenton Gardens is homey, not too large of a place, she has big room with a window viewing the courtyard. She gets attentive-care, great communication from staff, and reasonable monthly rent.

It's a wonderful place. It's cheerful, sunny, and clean. The residents all seem to be happy, clean, and in good care. The food manager seems to be very nice, gets to know the clientele, and works to accommodate their wants and needs. And the dining room is cheerful as well.

Few issues had while my husband was there were: They had a problem with the plumbing where the toilets were backing up into the shower. The carpets were also quite soiled. The staff were very nice and helpful at all times.

I was thinking my loved one was going into assisted living and within 24 hours they were moved to memory care. There were residents that recognized my loved one wandering around the outside of the community. The community moved and we didn't have time to compare pricing at other communities. The memory care needs some renovations done to it. I don't feel my loved one's room is kept as clean as it should be. The common areas doesn't look good because it is so mismatched and doesn't appears run done because of this. It would be nice to see improvements in grooming of the residents. I'm noticing that residents are needing to be shaved or nails need to be cut. The staff is friendly, but I think the community maybe short on staff.

Lovely community. The memory care may be a good fit there for my mom. The studio units probably wouldn’t work for us at this point.

We are satisfied and really have no complaints to say. They are just now allowing visitation but so far everything we have seen is very clean. The staff members there are very friendly and really are doing their best when it comes to the care. So far we do think the value is reasonable and fair.
