Bloom at Willow

They were close to home and offered service required for us at the time. Experience was smooth and staff were very kind.

I took a tour and this was top of our list, it seemed like it was going to be a great fit. ALL of the staff is helpful no matter what you need help with! I realize activities for memory care is difficult. My mom really misses her church services which she doesn't have.

Our family has had a great experience with Willow Lake Place, we are truly happy with the care they are providing for the residents.

Based on what we experienced at Willow Lake Place, I would not recommend going there if you need even the smallest bit of assistance in care. They do not provide proper care.

It was a clean facility. It was good in the beginning but things changed towards the end. It was more expensive. We picked because it was close to my job. I'm giving these numbers because it was the first place, it was a very tough decion putting my loved one here, and I don't feel like they were as compassionate with how I felt. I did not feel comfortable with my loved one being here.

My wife has been here 2.5 years and we have had a good experience. I have a great relationship with the memory care director and staff. They are professional and kind. The community is beautiful, and the staff is my family.

I would never recommend Willow Lake Place, it was a terrible experience and you cannot trust them.

The community is very nice, but the studio apartments are on the smaller side. However they are pet friendly which I love and the food overall is pretty good - not restaurant style but its pretty good.

During the week is pretty good, but the care crew on the weekends was subpar. Appearance-wise, it seemed to be clean and a good facility for as small as it was. Cost was a main reason why we left. They got us in at one rate, and then bumped us up a care level as soon as we moved our loved one in.

The staff members were all really friendly, however the value for cost is not worth it. Our loved one went in for assisted living level of care, completely ambulatory and within about three months is now skilled nursing care which completely devastated our family, especially with the finances. The care services at Willow Lake Place were completely non existent, our loved one was left in bed for hours which caused huge bed sores, and they never kept up communication with our family regarding anything with our loved one.

Our experience was only for a week, but during that week the staff really did try to help us out and work with us. It was pricey but there are other communities in the area that are more expensive that do not give the residents the correct attention.

We chose this facility because it is a sister facility to another one that we originally looked at. The other facility did not have any openings for respite, so they steered us to Willow Lake Place. I thought that it was conveniently located, when I got off work I could stop in to see her. I would recommend to others who are looking, my mom really enjoyed it.

They are friendly. The staff care about your loved ones. The food is good. Room sizes are good. I would definitely recommend Willow Lake Place. They were happy to see us when we visited. They have outdoor space.

Too much like a nursing home with that smell. Only have assisted living and the apartments are very small.

The staff changes frequently. They are caring... But, the food is terrible! Enlivent corporation, the parent company will not authorize healthy options. They serve the same cheap unhealthy meals over & over again. The clients complain all the time & nothing changes.

This is a great community! When I think of what makes the great I think about several things. First the care and concern that comes from the employees. The aides are truly kind, compassionate and competent. [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are names that come to mind. They extent their care and concern beyond serving drinks with food. Second, the administrative staff have an open door policy and an open mind when I have a concern. Third, and last, I appreciate that my mom can go out on scenic drives to lunch. Sending an aide to assist those who need extra help is helpful. It wouldn't be an honest review if I didn't offer some suggestions. During meals and when getting the residents up for breakfast and to bed, three aides are needed. When only two aides are working residents have to wait too long to be helped and if someone needs help going to the bathroom during a meal then it makes it real difficult on the staff left in the dining room. Several residents also need help to stay at a table or to help them eat. If it was your mom or dad you wouldn't want them waiting to go to bed or to the bathroom, would you? My last suggestion is to offer more structured activities on the weekend. The residents are restless. A scenic drive would be nice.
