The gardens in the back along with all of the above. Food was delicious, staff was very friendly, the facility was clean and there were no unpleasant odors. I also liked having a washer and dryer right there on the floor as I would come and do my sister's laundry during a visit. I was there 2 to 3 times a week, every week. We would have dinner together. I always enjoyed it. Afterwards, I would take her out to the back garden and we would sit. Then I would wheel her around the property. My sister told me that she was content. This was a huge compliment to Atria.... Read more

Things I would tell others looking into Atria Lafayette Hill: 1- My mom has been there for about 8 months. She really loves the staff and they help with so many things before she has to ask. 2 - The food is great! 3- She's had some medical issues (some requiring emergency care) and staff has always communicated with me immediately, checked in her hourly if needed, and didn't hesitate to get emergency care.

The staff are wonderful, caring, and friendly. The community is very clean. Overall my loved one has adjusted well. There are three meals a day served and there are a couple choices for the residents to choose from. Some of the activities include games, arts and crafts, bingo, music, and more for the residents to participate in.

I'm very happy with Atria. It's a beautiful, clean facility that is only a few years old. It looks like an apartment building - and not at all institutional - which is a huge plus. The attention to detail and construction is great. When you go inside the apartment and shut the door, it's quiet. You don't hear your neighbors. My sister has a lovely studio apartment with a huge full-size bathroom that includes a walk-in shower. There's a kitchenette with a full size-refrigerator and microwave. The people who work there are lovely. The lady who signs you in is lovely and friendly. The aides are happy and kind. Everybody says hi. They're so nice to my sister. They're very accommodating and take excellent care of her. And the food is good, which is an absolute bonus. They have beautiful gardens that my sister loves to go out and enjoy after dinner. I looked at a lot of places, and this one was THE BEST. My sister tells me she's content, and always says how nice everybody is. I really like Atria and would definitely recommend it.
We looked at 4 different places and Atria Lafayette Hill was by far the best. My loved one is doing great here. The management runs a very good facility. The facility is very clean and always cheerful when we go to visit. The staff were very cooperative in helping us get him in here and are very friendly. They have a ton of great activities provided for the residents to do. We have been extremely pleased with our experience.
The Atria Lafayette community is nice and beautiful but what it comes down to is the quality of care and workers. The turnover rate is alarming, they are having trouble keeping permanent staff so they go to these outside agencies but unfortunately those workers are not highly trained, there isn't much consistency or organization.

It's a nice new place, with nice people. everything is good. My loved one is eating better than anyone I know, and tends to brag about how good the food is. They publish a montly calendar with events, and activities. My loved one engages in a few activities . I have suggested Atria to other people. It's great for anyone that needs assisted living.

Transitioning I loved one, whether family or friend, is an extremely difficult thing to do. My first visit to Atria left me very satisfied that our loved one is in good hands. The whole facility is beautiful, clean and the staff exceptionally friendly and already seem to know their new resident well. I was particularly gratified with [name removed], who answered the phone, each time I called. She very happily and pleasantly answered all my concerns.

Atria Lafayette Hill was great. You could tell the staff that we dealt with there truly cared about helping my parents find a living space that they would be comfortable with both financially and physically. For us it just came down the the location and we found a facility that had a lower 2nd person fee.

This facility is beautiful and is pretty new. They seem to have alot going on for the residents. The care is good from talking to a friend whose mother lives there. The Life Guidance care unit appeared to be understaffed and a little chaotic, but still very nice. The residents aren't engaged in activities as much as they should be for memory care, with the majority of their time being spent in front of a television in a large sitting area. This could be due to no director or activities director in this department. Atria Lafayette Hill is worth checking out!

Our family had an in person tour and it looked like a very nice facility ready to accommodate your loved ones needs and wants. It is a very nice upscale community and at the time due to our loved ones health this was just not going to be the best fit.
I loved the community it was not a good fit for my loved one.
Atria Lafayette Hill is terrible. They want to fill the building, so will tell you anything and everything you want to hear during the sales process and not deliver on any of those representations. The care and treatment of the residents is sub-standard. They are not responsive when a resident presses his/her pendant. They cannot retain staff. Much of the staff is untrained and incompetent and/or unkind There have been times when they don't have staff in the dining room, so meals are delayed. Bottom line - steer clear. It looks nice and they are trained in their sales pitch, but it's all smoke and mirrors.

Came and toured the community loooking for my father. The building in beautiful and modern, with just the right touches. Every staff person I meet apeered welcoming, even when interacting with the residents. I was able to chat with a few of the residents and they all had wonderful things to say. We came durring lunch, and tthe food smelled wonderful. When it comes time to move my dad back to the east coast, this is the place for him!

Every month my sister gets a re-evaluation and the re-evaluation is sent to my email and you have to sign them and send them back. I do think they could change that process and send them in the mail instead to make it easier.

I find that the staff there is so super helpful. The front desk staff is so friendly. They learn your name very quickly. Even the support staff like the cleaning people know my loved one by name. It's a very interesting, welcoming situation. Overall I think the food is pretty good, and the activities are very good.

A Place for Mom has scored Atria Lafayette Hill 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
