They could improve on the overall care as well as staffing numbers. The staff who are working could be more productive and get off their phones. I don't know if I would recommend it. It depends on the circumstances of the person you're seeking to place. It's better for healthy independent people

Not enough help; they try, but a 75%+ increase, yes...we started @ $[removed]/month & they increased to over $[removed] following Jan. Was ridiculous, care got worse, they wouldn't bath my mom 2x a week, lucky if she got 1, but we were paying for it.

I was very impressed with the care my loved one received while they were living at Atria. The care staff went above and beyond! I never felt worried about my parents and it helped me feel like it was the right decision.

My mom was only there for a little over 2 weeks. She fell one week and they never told us. We noticed bruising on her hand. That same week she fell and broke her shoulder and hip. So needless to say after her surgery and hospitalization we took her out of atria. The place is beautiful. The majority of the aides were nice. However, they are not well equipped to deal with dementia patients who are further along in their disease, like my mother. She's now at a memory care and skilled facility.

I like the residents and their loved ones. In [name removed] facility we are a tight net group. Take care of each other's residents if needed. I like the fact at [name removed] residence , mostly all are mobile. Talk in groups. Hang in groups. This could be the best memory care facility in Pittsburgh! Great looking Facility, Meals are delicious and the Staff is kind. Improvements should be increase staff ratio. Staff educated in memory care techniques to improve care. Management following up with loved once suggestions . Price is high for quality of care. Shouldn't need to hire outside help to assist with loved ones care. Raises for memory care staff for work well done. 9% increase in cost way to high every year. Also , hire a professional activity director

My mom is thriving at Atria. She regularly participates in activities and has made many friends. Most of the staff are caring and helpful. The facility and grounds are very nice. It was also more affordable than some others that were not as nice. I took my mom there for lunch before we decided and she really liked it. That is why we chose Atria.

The staff are well qualified and perform well at their position. Some staff are not as friendly as most others are, and are willing to help when needed. Staffing is a problem in some areas, as what seems to be a common problem with many companies .

I had the pleasure of meeting both [names removed], Community Sales Directors, as we explored options for my brother who needed assisted living care and accommodations. These ladies went above and beyond to keep me informed of all availabilities, incentives, levels of care and cost, and amenities offered for those needing special assistance. I encourage anyone to take a tour of Atria's at Cranberry Woods and talk to either of these ladies. I'm sure you will be as impressed as I was. As an RN, care is uppermost in my mind and they arranged for me to speak with their Resident Care Director who answered all of my questions. I believe the residents of Atria's have not only a beautiful place to live but a caring place in which to build friendships and have a quality lifestyle. Thank you [names removed], for your time and help and patience!
