Arbol Residences of Santa Rosa

[name removed] the sales lead was simply amazing. I would also give high marks to A Place for Mom! Helpful. The whole process was painless. Amenities are great. Good food. Hair stylist. Social activities. Staff is super friendly and responsive.

My mother currently lives at Arbol Residences of Santa Rosa. The staff is friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff keeps the facility very clean. Communication with the family is excellent. The meals are the only thing that needs improvement. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

The intake process was great. The staff were very knowledgeable about getting my loved one admitted into the community. It was a smooth transition, and there was no stress about the process. This was a very good experience for the family as well as my loved one. The staff is very receptive to phone calls to the staff and family about our loved one. If there has been any questions that the staff have, they reach out to the family and they have been great to work with. The activities include sit and be fit, crafts, gardening, musicians, mocktails, and more for the residents to participate in. My loved one wasn't exercising prior to moving in, and now my loved one is participating and this is impressive to me. Medication management, bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance is some of the care the community is able to provide. The community won't allow my loved one to just have a Tylenol unless there is a doctor's note. I wish the community would be more proactive in getting the paperwork from the doctor to be provided to the community for this medication.

The word I would use to describe the staff at Arbol is genuine. In the four months my husband has lived there, I've witnessed their kindness, their dedication and their sense of humor. Most impressive, my husband, who has Alzheimer's, is calmer and more himself than he's been in years. I highly recommend this facility.

I toured Arbol a couple weeks ago as I am looking for a place for my mother and father who are in their 80's. It seemed quite beautiful and was very well decorated. The staff I met during my tour seemed very warm and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and I even met a couple of the care givers who introduced themselves. I was very pleased with everything I saw.

Horrible care, understaffed so bad my family member waits for long periods for care. Food service is poor due to lack of kitchen staff and food that is just not edible. Management that is unprofessional and staff who are incompetent.

We chose Arbol Residences because of the location and the staff seemed to be very friendly. The room sizes here are adequate for the needs. I ate here several times and I thought they did an excellent job with the meals. Overall, I would recommend.

In July 2019 Brookdale Fountaingrove became Arbol Residences when Life Care Services took over day-to-day management. [Name removed] gave me a thorough tour of the assisted living portion of the building and, having toured over half a dozen facilities in Santa Rosa, I liked Arbol the best. The apartments are clean and comfortable and the common living spaces are pleasant. My mother was in assisted living at Arbol for eight months until she passed peacefully in her bed in spring of 2020. Arbol’s management is exceptional, knowledgeable and accommodating, and line staff is very kind and caring. Everyone does their best to provide prompt and personalized service. Mom especially enjoyed visiting with [name removed], the onsite beautician, while she had her hair cut or got a manicure. Arbol provides a nice variety of activities for residents. Arbol provides assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing facilities onsite, which I appealed to me in case I needed to move Mom. Although my mother never needed to go there I also toured the Arbol skilled nursing facility and it appeared to be much more pleasant than the many others I had visited. Finally, the evacuation during the Kincaide Fire of 2019 was handled very well. I highly recommend Arbol for your loved one.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mom. They gave us a wonderful tour and even invited us to stay for lunch. We were introduced to other members of the staff and they all seemed nice. The people that gave the tours both times we visited were very knowledgeable and represented the community well. Ultimately, we decided against moving my Mom in because it didn’t quite fit her needs but overall it seemed like a nice place.

I cannot believe how fortunate we were to have landed at Brookdale. It is truly the most caring and loving situation I have ever seen. The administrators, staff down to orderlies and cleaners are cheerful, kind and so helpful. I would give the facility 10 starts if I could.

Our loved one is going through rehab here at Brookdale Fountaingrove. It is a very nice and clean community. The staff is very caring and attentive to his needs. They are easy to talk to and they keep me informed concerning his well-being. He is in the skilled nursing section and receiving physical therapy. We haven't decided where we are going from here, where will be the best fit for his future needs.

There were many places within the Clare Bridge until of activity. The "apartments" we're clean roomy and pleasant. I loved the patio area. Clients could go out one door into a secure area and in another door and think the went somewhere. It is a lovely facility and hopefully a place for our Mom.

While my mom is still settling in, and seems to enjoy it, from an office/customer service point of view, it has been a struggle. They have unusual office practices that leave me shaking my head. The food is not very good at all. I have concerns, we'll see how it turns out.

The care was not going well and we removed my mom. They didn't check on her enough, they only had 2 caregivers for one floor. We were unhappy and disappointed in the caregivers. They kept saying they would check on her. I had to go there and spend hours with her, I was not comfortable. The food was not that good either. The people were friendly and nice but the caregivers were lacking in training and the community did not have enough staff, all my opinion.

My wife was here for respite and it was not a positive experience. They clearly need more staff because after a week they required me to hire more staff to accommodate her needs. She didn't get her medication on time or the proper dosages. For these reasons I would not recommend Brookdale Fountiangrove.

Brookdale has been a wonderful place for my Aunt. She has gone from being basically a recluse to her old self again. The care she has received has been exemplary! The staff is wonderfull! Very caring.

This facility was not very clean and a little run down. It was more like a nursing facility versus an assisted living community. The staff was friendly but did not offer much info on the place.

This looked like a nice community when we toured it. The staff were so nice and cooperative. The community looked clean and this would be a community we would choose when my loved one needs the added memory care.
