I felt that the establishment was nice but the response time when my Mom needed help was too long especially when she had to go to the bathroom! While visiting, I saw it would be an hour or more for someone to respond. They would always say we are understaffed so you have to wait. Also, the food sometimes was not good for my Mom(lactose intolerant) so my sisters and I would have to bring her things to eat.The receptionists were so nice and there was one caregiver,[name removed]that Mom loved and we did too! When my Mom pasted, none one even called us to give condolences!

As you can see, we were very unhappy with All American. We spent tens of thousands for less than two months! Entering there they woo'ed us and once my mother was a resident, radio silent. They promised therapies immediately and she never received one. They actually called us after we removed her. After. She was there 6 weeks! Would never recommend them and I voice that every chance I get to people who ask and on social media.

New Administration. hopefully it is a positive change. The Conseirge and [name removed} is very helpful. I always have positive experiences with them. Mom had positive mostly interactions with other clients, and some memory issues with a few, but that is why they ate in an Assisted Living facility.

My loved one was previously a resident at All American Assisted Living at Hillsborough and the overall experience was okay. I won't go into detail about why I gave the scores that I did. Let's just say that we moved my loved one to a different Assisted Living facility which also provided Hospice Care.

I would say it was a very good experience. Very easy. The only thing I would tell other people is that it's a small community so they usually only have 1 activity at a time. If you don't like that activity there isn't much to do other than watch tv.

I would absolutely recommend it. I have experience from both sides ..memory care and the traditional living because my mother-in-law lived there for several years and she was one of the first residents.

Cleanliness and care are much better than they were in the beginning! Communication was not the best but that also is much better now. New managers have made a concerted effort in all areas

We visited All American Assisted Living at Hillsborough for my Uncle other week and was greeted by [name removed], she is super polite. With in seconds she knew we were there for a tour and gave [name removed] the sales director a call to come over to the desk. [name removed] greeted us and showed us around the community and introduce us to some of the residents living there. After the tour I was able to meet the team, [name removed] and [name removed] who took the time out of their day to meet with us. [name removed] was able to answer our financial and VA benefit questions. [name removed] was able to bring our Uncle to the dining room for coffee and an assessment. They work well together. This will be the place my uncle will be moving into.

I visited the community and was greeted by the friendly staff. I enjoyed seeing the residents being engaged in all of the activities that were offered. The residents were also very friendly and welcomed me into their home. I would highly recommend this community.

I like that you can visit in room, and there are plenty of other spaces like library. to visit. I like the special days family can enjoy the lunch etc. like grandparents day. There is also a large selection of books to read.

Our family had an in person tour with All American Assisted Living and we thought all of the staff were very nice and they spend a good amount of time with us. The tour person I think [name removed] was very friendly and knew all of the residents. We liked All American but they only had shared rooms, but we really did like the atmosphere of it.
Overall experience was not good. We explained Mom's level of need, was told no problem we can accommodate. It was an absolute fabrication. Mom never even received her necklace (to call for help) for over two weeks. Anytime I called to speak with someone, I left messages with no call back. And she was supposed to be in PT. We called multiple times to see when she would be evaluated (was told that would happen immediately after arrival). Want to know when they called us to just evaluate her? Two weeks after we removed her!!! The original person who was SO attentive taking our money, never spoke to us again. She was left to fend for herself multiple times. We left after a month. Would never recommend that place to anyone. They want your money and that's it.. Actually seems clean. But I never ventured around outside Mom's room. Friendliness of staff? Could never find anyone to speak with. When it come to the quality of care I'd go lower if your scale let me. There is no level of care. If you're able bodied, I'm sure it could be okay. If you need assistance, you're out of luck. I brought her in food constantly. She was brought sandwiches. Nothing really good. Never attended activities. The overall value for cost - absolute zero. For one month, we spent a ridiculous amount of money. And when I pulled Mom from there, they sent me bills for unknown services. Even when I asked about them (that were never mentioned/indicated in the contract), I received no answers. I didn't pay those. I assume they were ways to pad their pockets, because they haven't charged me for those again. Be smart enough to question every charge.

My mom has said that the residents here were all very friendly and welcoming. As far as the food goes, I think they need to offer healthier meal choices as well as more options for the residents to choose from. I would recommend All American at Hillsborough to others.

My family is very happy with All American. The cost was great. But when I did the tour with [name removed]. It felt like a very friendly and comfortable place to be. The staff new the residents names and things they liked to do. An other place I visited was not so friendly and lot more money.I would and have recommend it to other families going there this with their loved ones. The staff is very friendly. And they take the time to learn about their residents and even their families. My father is so happy there. I am glad we were told about All American.

They promise much more than they offer. Their brochure says they offer "Exercise Physiologists offering over 150 different fitness and wellness classes and diagnosis-specific programs." This was promised during the in take, but it was impossible to get our loved one started in this program, even with a doctors order. I'm not convinced it actually exists. They provide very limited transportation to doctors visits, so you ultimately are responsible for transport. Very limited skilled medical team on site, and very inconsistent. This place may be ok if your loved one is fully independent, but if they need any significant level of care, I would not trust or recommend this place.

The staff overall cares for the residents. The food has improved greatly since a new chef arrived in the community. During the tour the Marketing Team told us that our loved one could have family members enjoy dinner in the dining room with them. Then staff later told us that our loved one wouldn't be able to eat meals with family members. This was disappointing to us!

A Place for Mom has scored All American Assisted Living at Hillsborough 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
