You cannot walk very far into Hillside Assisted Living without seeing 5 very important words. Respect,Compassion,community,love and activity Staff truly enjoys working and interacting with residents. This is obvious not only through their words but through their daily actions. Kitchen gives numerous choices at each meal and even honors individual requests. Nursing is attentive and free shuttle bus to appointments is invaluable Administration is kind, caring and always thinking of new ways to make each day special. Rooms are spacious with full baths. Activity Director is full time. She provides a well balanced calendar of not only unique but interesting activities for mind and body. Weekly shuttle bus trips. Respect,compassion,community,love and activity Hillside is a wonderful place for mom or dad.
The biggest issue is the food quality. Everything else is good. The staff is excellent, despite being short staffed. I would recommend Leighton Place to others.
